Great sidewalk table, wine, salad, dinner specials

A colleague and I sat at one of their sidewalk tables and spent 3 hours enjoying great wines, salad, pasta, and their lamb chop special. I wish that they were open until the early morning like restaurants in Spain. But the time that we could spend there was very fine indeed!

For Italian food in the Cupertino area, Cafe Torre is the best! Each dish is delicious; the food is great. When the quality of Fontana's began to slide, we came here instead and have never been disappointed.

Cupertino address notwithstanding, expectations are not all that high when going to a place in a strip mall on Stevens Creek Blvd. We went as a group of about 14 after work for appetizers and a few drinks. We were on the wine bar side – separate entrance to but still a part of Café Torre. It was not at... More

The food was good here but the service wasn't up to par. Other patrons seemed to receive good service, but I did not. My server was decently friendly but after he took my order I did not see him again until he brought my check. He didn't deliver the food, check on me to see how it was or offer... More

I have lived in Cupertino for 18 years, but just came here for the 1st time for a dinner based on both positive TripAdvisor and OpenTable ratings. Beyond the strip mall facade lies an oasis with tables comfortably spaced apart so you can have a quiet conversation. The service was very attentive; no where else has my iced tea glass... More

This is one of our local friends favorite places. It is now one of ours when in the area. We were warmly welcomed and quickly and pleasantly attended to. A nice menu with some nice specials. I tried Nino's Spaghetti, a Bolognese pasta dish that had been "passed down for four generations" according to the menu description. I agree...it was... More

The food was excellent the pasta was perfect the sauce was lovely....everything tasted wonderful! We had the pleasure to have two different dishes and an appetizer... Everything was nicely seasoned.... The service was outstanding! I did not rate this excellent because I saw a roach on the wall, at the restaurant itself looks very clean so it could've been just... We live close by, and discovered this place quite by accident several years ago. Since, though, it's become our go-to for a date night or special place to take visitors. It doesn't pretend to be anything else but a well-run local spot with very good food. The menu changes, but not very often. Good selection of pastas, and there are... More

I have probably been past this restaurant a hundred times and never realized it was there until a friend invited me to lunch. Delightful! It is elegant, the staff was nicely attentive without butting in and very charming and gracious. We both had the lamb sandwiches: nicely sliced lamb with a tasty aoli, cubed fried potatoes (not greasy) and a... More

Went for a business lunch that needed to be close to De Anza as my dining partner teaches there. While in a strip mall on Stevens Creek, the menu and quality of the food exceeds expectations. I had a salad nicoise that was presented beautifully - a solid offering though not spectacular. My partner had a seafood pasta that looked... More
