We have been to this place several times and our experience is more or less the same - staff is professional, ambiance is good, food is pretty good (not so true authentic chinese - else we won't be able to eat), a bit American flavored. Price is bit high, given the portion, ambiance and cleanliness, I think price is justified.... More

Mandarin Gourmet in Cupertino offers a wide range of dishes, tasty sauces, excellent service. The weekday lunch menu is extensive. This is a great place for lunch or dinner. Good for groups, whether work or special occasion. We visit frequently.

Our waiter was not pleased that we weren't focused on ordering and was almost comically rude about it. We did eventually order and we were brought a bland chinese... More

Good restaurant with quality food. They close very early (9:15pm ) so you may want to factor this in your plans.

We live in Cupertino and this is one of our favorite places to visit as a family. My wife loves the chicken with sizzling rice soup here. We were there today for dinner and ordered sauteed asparagus and diced chicken with celery, zucchini and cashews. Both entrees were good and tasty. Since I have already mentioned that this is one... My family and I eat at this place about every other month. One of the more consistently good Chinese restaurants in the South Bay. It is one of my wife's fave restaurants and she usually orders more the American/Chinese fares such as Honey Walnut Prawns and Mongolian Beef. The decor is upscale so it makes you feel like you have... More

I placed a to go order and the man (I think he's the owner or definitely manager) was very helpful. He assisted me through the menu and helped me decide on an entree. The delicious: Hot & Sour Soup was killer. It actually has a good kick to it. If you need your sinuses cleared, have a bowl of this!... More

I have business in Cupertino quite often, so I have occasion to dine at The Mandarin Gourmet regularly. I love the Chinese Chicken Salad - they use such fresh, clean lettuce and delicious strips of chicken! And the Tangerine beef is always smoky and delicious. They are always efficient, friendly and the quality of the food is consistently excellent. Always... More
