I have several Chinese friends who LOVE to gamble. I'm amazed at their fearlessness as they place bets on sports teams or trot off to Reno to play the tables. Unfortunately, this particular restaurant is also a gamble. Although I would say it is definitely the best "americanized" Chinese food in the Cupertino area, you are NOT guaranteed a great... More

Great service and friendly management have made this place very satisfying over the years. I almost always start with the west lake beef soup filled with meat, mushrooms, onions, egg whites. I am getting hungry thinking about it. I then move on to a couple of main courses, such as chicken chow main, salt and pepper prawns, or chicken with... More

We live in Cupertino and eat her fairly often. It's not cheap but it's delicious. When our out of town family visits they always like to go there as well. Our family favorites are the Honey Walnut Prawns, Tangerine Beef, Sesame Chicken, Cashew Chicken, and Pot Stickers. I like the Hot & Sour soup as well.

Food-wise, they've got a wide range of Americanized Chinese food. I ordered their sesame chicken and it was quite tasty. Although their overly sweet, glazed fried chicken did remind me of a chicken dish I had at PF Chang's. Makes sense as how these two places have basically the same concept.

It is classic chinese restaurant in cupertino. It is in De Anza Blv. close to apple campus. The food is very good and the price is also ok. The hotel is in the other side of the Aloft cupertino. so if you are staying in this hotel it is a good choice for lunch.

We were excited to try a recommended Chinese restaurant in our area. Bit disappointed. Food was Ok, quite pricey. Weekends they just have the dinner menu which hikes the prices up considerably. Very few delicacies in our 3 Delicacy Kung Pao, mainly peanuts and water chestnuts. Honey Walnut prawns were over sweet and pale. But the waiter was the real... More

We have always liked the food but the atmosphere is very stiff and lacking of any personality. It starts from the owners and drills down into the waiters. Only two waiters that need a little bit of training in customer service - Frank & George. We would come here more often but we seem to get stuck with them. I... More

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. In fact, I've been coming here since it opened many years ago. Some will say that it's not authentic and so it's not real Chinese, but as far as food goes, it's really good. I love the honey walnut prawns, the birds nest, moo goo gai pan, lettuce cups, the wor won... More

Very good quality but not sure what the "gourmet" stands for. Prices are not actually in the gourmet category - so good value here. But I've had less chewy broccoli beef. Standards like chicken chow mein, mu shu pork, sweet & sour shrimp all pretty good. Nothing outstanding. Good size servings and good service. Nice atmosphere. All good. Not great.
