Southern style fried chicken and spiced to perfection. If you like yours spicy they have their own hot sauce. I eat mine with the freshly baked biscuits and the butter pickles. I love friend chicken and I have it whenever I found it on the menu and this one is one of the best in LA. If I could I... More

The food was fantastic! The service was excellent. The friend chicken tasted just like mom made it! The side dishes were good too. Tip - don't forget to eat a piece of corn bread! You might be too full to eat desert but be sure to take something home (pound cake or sweet potato pie). They also serve homemade lemonade.... More

I have visited a few times and normally get a chicken breast and pancakes but I prefer now to get the boneless breast. Less fuss is better for me. I love the way their chicken is fried, love the pancakes, and biscuits but haven't tried much else. A friend loves to ask for the little crunchy pieces from the fryer... More

Okay so I give this a very good rating. Why? basically all chicken places have a distinct flavor to their own. A special season or a deeper fry etc. This place tastes JUST like another chicken chain that has ONLY one location that I know of left. If you have ever had Golden Bird chicken then this is what it... More

I popped into HK this week after a movie, after having heard recommendations from a few people about how good it was. I was not impressed - with the food, the service, or the restaurant. The young woman behind the counter could not have been less interested, and when we asked her questions about the menu or the food, either... More

Yes, we like Honey's Chicken but do not try to share it with friends and family. I planned a party menu around the fried chicken drumettes offered on their catering menu. In the past, they were pricy but perfect for a picnic lunch for 24. I called two weeks prior to the event to place an order and was advised... More

If you are in the mood to blow your diet, I recommend Culver City's little gem, Honey's Kettle fried chicken, cole slaw, corn on the cob, biscuit, and maybe, if you have room, the pecan pie. The lemonade is the best I've ever had. It's not fast food because it's not KFC, people, but it's very good food. I like... More

We were in the mood to be bad and eat fried chicken, which we had not had in quite sometime. The chicken was OK, nothing great and the restaurant did not have enough employees to make sure that the tables were clean. We would never go back.

Chicken was just ok ...certainly not deserving as Los Angeles best fried chicken! Hush puppies were very dry. Wait for order was long. Lemonade was the best!
