The food was passable/decent so a 2 out of 5 instead of a 1, but wow, what terrible service. No one was at the host stand so it took a bit before someone could seat us. It was then 10 minutes later before the waiter actually came to the table, and it was the guy who sat us! So not... More

The menu says they make their pizza exactly like Naples. And it's true. You can taste Italy in the Pizza. I was shocked. First time in LA to actually have that taste. Calimari was also very well done. Only con note was the waitress who I needed to wave out several times to get her to our table throughout the... More

I had lunch at Ugo Ristorante today. It promises to have Neapolitan pizza, and it was just that--delicious. We topped the lunch off with their calorie laden, super good ice cream. It was all great, as was the service.

My work team was meeting in Culver City and the organizers of the meeting chose Ugo for our group dinner. It was a good choice. We ordered some appetizers for the table. The calamari was wonderful. It was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. The bruschetta was very good. Pasta dominates the menu so most of us... More

I was starving and was irritated at the parking situation in downtown Culver City. We finally parked in the public parking and walked over to Ugo. We shared a chopped salad and shared their salmon dinner in a semi sweet grape sauce. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. The salmon had a slight crispy... More

Ugo's is in a great location with outdoor seating. That said, it's fine if a restaurant allows dogs and the dogs and their owners are well behaved. Even after asking the manager to speak to the dogs' owner, his response was " sorry, they are like children running around, what can I do?" Well, do something...you are there to manage... More

Lobster ravioli, Penne boscaiola and Fiori di zucca were all excellent. For dessert, the most heavenly chocolate mousse in a thin chocolate cup shaped like a tulip. Good thing we all shared. The cannoli also was excellent. Good service. Helpful and friendly. Very convenient to Sony Studios, Culver Studios, Culver Hotel, Pacific Culver movies.

The food was fantastic, the service was awesome!! They had a wide assortment of Italian desserts as you walked in. We sat on the patio to delightful July 4th LA weather. We enjoyed some of the best bruschetta we have ever had and a carafe of sangria that was very good. Overall great place and you will love the feel... More
