Description: Rustic French & Italian food- reminiscent of tasting one’s way through the European countryside, with emphasis on market-fresh, seasonal ingredients. Executive Chef Junior Perez brings a strong commitment to unpretentious, market-driven cooking and pouring wine that reflects the spirit of both France and Italy. Signature dishes include Fruits de Mer; Handcrafted Salumi & Charcuterie; Boudin Noir with Beluga Lentils and Wilted Mustard Greens; Passatelli in Brodo with Chicken and Chanterelles. The space is a celebration of rustic Tuscan colors and clad in weather-worn farmhouse stone, with an inviting indoor-outdoor concept that suits L.A.’s Mediterranean climate.

This was the first time we'd hosted a large party here, and we were seated in the outside area on 4 large tables, taking up the entire outside area. The set menu was delicious, and service was prompt. Even if you don't plan on having dinner here, their bar area is great area to enjoy a couple of cocktails. It's... More

delicious truffle risotto and that's why I went back -the rest of the meal was ok. the waiter was ok, the wine was ok, the steak was ok, the fish was ok. nothing to set this restaurant apart. I had been here in December and ordered the truffle risotto along with an incredible bistecca florentine. I expected a similar experience... More

It has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. But lately the food and the service declined quite a bit. We were there 2/26/2012 for dinner. Our waiter was so busy watching the Oscars on television, it took more than 20 minutes to get our order in and our drinks. The food was mediocre. The dessert was... More

The BLAT is superb! Wish they had takeout but they are too high brow for that.

We are in Culver City a few times a year. We always stop to have dinner or brunch at Fraiche. We have experienced the whole menu with chef’s tastings and wine pairing. The service is always superb. During brunch, the fresh squeezed orange Mimosas are best and constantly being refilled. The Brioche French Toast, Truffle Burger and the Steak and... More

Fraiche serves an eclectic mix of French/Italian fare. The prices are high, but the quality is usually pretty good. Service, however, is questionable at best. I used to go fairly regularly, but really got tired of the service and stopped for that reason alone.

Reservation: Used opentable to reserve a table, but had to wait both times before we were seated. First time, it was still a little empty but they were still getting ready even if we were on time. The second time, the tables were full and for some reason it felt like we were getting bypassed by others. I don't know... More

This Restaurant was such an amazing find. It is located in Culver City near SONY studios where there are a cluster of wonderful restuarants that you would never know were there unless you were a studio exec. The restaurant does not have an extensive menu (as things change daily) However, the items listed sounded amazing and indeed were amazing. They... More
