Description: Fill all your senses at Ford"s Filling Station - LA's first and finest Gastropub - where the atmosphere is relaxed yet often bustling. Comfortable seating areas with warm walnut surfaces and Asian rugs create a charming intimacy amidst an informal setting. The patios are intimate, for private parties, and offer a soothing contrast to our energetic main room, which features wood-beamed ceilings, brick, polished concrete floors and an open kitchen. Machine-age lamps accent the wooden bar while large celestial chandeliers create a ceiling of soft light. Our dedication to craft is evident in the American Regional Menu, which is rustic, simple and innovative, yet familiar. The seasonal menu emphasizes flavor in exciting, uncomplicated combinations and in keeping with Chef Ford's earthy palate.

We enjoyed the burgers there and the fries were really good. In fact my wife and I split the burger since it was so late that night. Be aware that the burger, fries and ice water cost $17.00 but the location was convenient. Friendly people too.

Something for everyone- choose from front patio, side patio, inside ... Menu has ideal options for sharing or individual preferences. Bloody Mary is delicious (for a self acknowledge BM snob), wines by the glass & beer - all on point. Topped off by easy and fun service flow.

I went for a lunch one day and ordered a simple hamburger. As I tried to eat it I realized quickly that there was SO much FAT! I mean every bite I took I had a chunk of fat in my mouth! It was gross. When the owner/or chef came along and asked me how things were I told him... More

I couldn't find the LAX location, but we ate at the LAX Ford's Filling Station while waiting for our flight. I did not expect much, but it was really good food and a decent price. Even my finicky 11 year old loved his burger and fries.

I visited Ford's last week w/my nephew - we had the taquitos - very good - I had a salad - which was HUGE - my nephew had the smashed chicken - took some home - large portions - I had the gnocchi - couldn't finish. The wines by glass are very good - they have lots of great options.... More

Ford's Filling Station in Culver City is an excellent choice for an enjoyable evening. Located in the heart of Culver City (which is a lot of fun in and of itself), the restaurant is warm and inviting. The wood, fired kitchen and atmosphere is at once rustic but modern. The menu choices are all attractive (everyone in our large party... More

Have eaten here twice while visiting our son. Delicious breakfast offerings like the pork belly eggs benedict, breakfast burrito, and breakfast flatbread. Good bloody mary's.

(Ford's Filling Station might have gotten closer to 5 had we not had dinner at "Animal" the next night and discovered how ridiculosly terrific a dining experience can be.) At Ford's FS I had a very fine burger after a very imaginative and delicious Octopus taco. My wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their entrees... A steak and pasta dish respectively.... More

Every thing I have had a Ford's has been good. I like the variety from comfort food to gourmet eating, and the tasting menus are a lot of fun. Even my Brazilian visitors enjoy the restaurant and their tastes are truly sophisticated.

Part of the good vibe in the restaurant and nightlife scene in today's Culver City downtown, Ford's offers interesting menu choices and well prepared food at reasonable prices in an enjoyable, casual atmosphere. The shrimp and grits and the veal tartare are especially tasty. Wine list bottle prices start too high. 'Very good" already, could become "Excellent."
