I miss La Ballona! Now that we live on the east coast again, I miss this place. Its the whole in the wall kind of place that everbody loves that is NOT a whole in the wall--and they serve margaritas. Try the beef enchiladas (my favorite!), in fact, try all the traditional mex (no tex here!) food. Portions are huge... more

This is a good mexican restaurant. It's family run and doesn't have that "chain restaurant" taste. Servings are big. The cheese enchiladas and chicken tacos are excellent! Skip the albondigas soup. The waitstaff is very nice, but sometimes it's hard to get good service there. Something about how it's laid out makes it very hard to get their attention. When... more
