I ended up getting the king salmon for my main course and although good, I thought I got a rather small piece of salmon for it to be a 'king salmon'. And it cost about 30 bucks. So I mean that could have been better, but it still tasted great. I really have to recommend the hummus though. I got... More

With all the new restaurants along Culver Blvd, Akasha stands out. A creative and flavorful menu married to one of the best cocktail, wine by the glass & bottle lists around. Although I like a lot of the food on the menu, the Kale Caesar is a must try.

Our son's favorite coffee shop in Culver. Went here when visiting here for a late breakfast. Great coffee and offerings like the bagel/lox plate.

I have eaten here twice. The first time I was blown away by the deliciousness of everything I had. I actually ended up ordering a second order of Kale salad it was so good. We had yummy desserts too. The second time I went the kale salad was still great but I think the portion size was much smaller. The... More

Amazing food at this lovely restaurant in Culver City. My favorite was the Kale Caesar (Chiffonade Kale with perfect dressing) and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Our waiter was charming and we loved the wine as well. We returned the next day and had amazing coffee and mouth-watering scones. Parking was easy (5 level parking garage next door).

I had the best fried chicken ever. I thought I was going to have to wrestle with a breast on the bone, but it was boneless and therefore easier to eat gracefully in public. It was absolute the best tasting fried chicken I have ever had. The parmesan mashed potatoes were lick-the-plate terrific, too. The dessert was just okay and... More

I went with friends and one needs gluten free one eats anything and I'm vegetarian. They had something for everyone. The parking was easy in the garage in back. Great atmosphere. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The wait staff was very efficient and we were ordering not long after we sat down. The food came... More

Great restaurant. Friendly to those who are gluten free or vegetarian. The drinks are different but very good.

Second time at Akasha, the main course was again very tasty, the first problem of this restaurant is the noise ( tip for the owners : that could just be solved by a big bloc of polysterene in the ceiling probably, that would absorb the reverberation against the brick walls ), so i would recommand that you try to eat... Went on a Friday night before UCLA's opening night basketball game and realized I was not a regular because I was the only one wearing a basketball jersey! Easy free parking right next door (2 hours), seated right away, but it was busy so the Stanley Tucci look-alike waiter was inconsistent with his service a little. Came for Duff Goldman's... More
