Love this place. We are regulars for breakfast - has a hip, studio crowd - great organic coffees and teas, fabulous service and delicious pastry and eggs! Top notch. Dinner and lunch are terrific too! Akasha is a great chef!

The restaurants in Culver City change hands and names frequently. However, Akasha has not. It has a great menu and great atmosphere. The wine and beer selections are fantastic.

Six of us had dinner on Sunday night and the room had good energy, was relaxed and casual in a good way. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable and gave good advice. Interesting menu with what seemed to be very fresh and local ingredients. We loved the Kale Caeser, a very interesting Turkey Burger, and everyone agreed that "Mary's Chicken" was... More

First, let me say I will definitely return, and overall, our experience was wonderful. This would have been 5 stars, except our waiter was far from the best. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, fabulous menu. The problem was, our waiter seemed to have an attitude right from the start. He was pretty arrogant, and acted like he was doing us a... More

Went to Akasha in Culver City the other night. Great ambiance, even if a bit noisy, first rate service, interesting menu of small and large plates, reasonable prices. The food going by looked and smelled delicious. Couldn't decide what to order, and went with the Spiked Turkey Burger--not the best choice. Overwhelmed by a large slice of cheese (once melted... We walked in right at happy hour at this farm to table place. Luckily, we got a spot at the bar, because the rest of the place was reserved…for the entire night! I had a beet salad with chicken and my husband had the sake and anise short ribs. Both were great! We also shared sweet potato fries to which... More

Four of us had dinner at Akasha recently and had a great time. The cocktails were excellent, the food was very good and service was attentive. We sat on the terrace which probably wasn't as comfortable as the inside restaurant, but can't really complain. The LA Dine Out menu was particularly great, although only I had it and the others... I came here with family over 5 years ago with family and liked it so I wanted to return. My daughter and I came for dinner after 8 pm on a Monday night. The LA Dine Out Menue was available and looked tempting but was a bit too much food for so late during the week. The deserts on it... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant with some colleagues. We were fashionably late, but still had our table waiting. To my surprise as we sat down the hostess says it is 1/2 off wine Wednesday. My prayers had been answered. We ordered a few Red Zins in the upper ranges that were just fabulous. The sommelier was knowledgeable and great to... More
