I have been away from California for about 15 years now and I cannot tell you how much I miss the garlic/cheese bread I think of it to this day I wish the stores did carry the spread. My friend once bought me 6 tubs of the spread and froze it I kept it as long as I could and... more
This was our first time to this restaurant after having heard good reviews. The hostess was cold and not very friendly. There was no greeting other than "How many?" This service-attitude transferred over to our waiter we had was very impersonal and no help whatsoever with our questions. The atmosphere is for adults as there were many nude pictures of... more
I grew up going here as a child and I LOVE it. more
Good place to go on a Sunday afternoon with the family. Great if you like red meat. more
Always enjoy eating here; went on New Year's Day this time. Decor: Like an old log lodge, complete with fake snow on roof. Inside is interesting. Atmosphere: Peanut shells on the floor. Warm. Dark, but in a good way. Food: Entrees are always good, never outstanding, always too much. The salads, cheese bread and baked potatoes are reason enough to... more

For the last 27 years, I gladly drive 35 miles to eat there. On my last visit there, at 1:15 PM on May 23, 2007, for lunch, I... more
Why isn't this restaurant listed already? Anyway...it's dark and filled with peanut shells and sawdust on the floor, stuffed and mounted deer and bear, a log cabin look and artificial snow on the roof. You can't miss it! Try any of the sandwich meals; they are plenty big and you don't even need the full dinner. I recommend the shrimp,... more
