I have been eating and shopping here since the 60's - always look forward to returning to my childhood home and grabbing a sandwich at Capri. They have a great selection of meats and cheeses and import products.

The Capri has been a staple in Covina for as long as I can remember. The Capri has the best subs and Italian dishes around. Nothing beats the Meat Ball sandwich combo. In all my years of being a loyal Capri patron I have never walked away disappointed I an confident that neither will you. If you are in the... More

This place has been around for years and everyone loves it. It can get pretty busy because they have the best sandwiches. They may not have as many options for toppings as Subway but it's the real deal. The top choices are roast beef, meat ball, and the all time best cold cut. Expect to pay a bit more for... More

When the server said the pastrami sandwich only comes with pastrami, bread, mustard and pickles, I was a bit hesitant paying $7 for a sandwich. I like my sandwiches loaded with toppings. Well, this sandwich was loaded alright, with juicy, tender pastrami. The thick-sliced pickles and mustard gave the sandwich just the right balance. It was a sandwich to give... More

Capri deli is very nice and has very friendly staff. The food is the freshest ever. As mentioned in other reviews, they get crazy busy at lunchtime. But again definitely worth the wait. I've never had a problem with parking & the wait was never too long. You can call in your order and pick it up or eat there.... More

Several of our friends frequent the Capri Deli, so we were happy they brought us there for lunch. I chose the hot pastrami sandwich and my husband chose the meatball sandwich. I was amazed at how skilled the staff was in constructing the sandwiches, which were huge. I think the amount of pastrami they loaded on my roll made my... More

My husband and I went there for lunch. Nice place very friendly people, but they get super busy at the lunch hour - but it is worth the wait. My husband had the cold cut sandwich and it was all he could do to finish it. I had the pastrami it was over 4" high on the sandwich. I ate... More

I've been to so many well known pastrami places, 'The Hat', 'Johnnies Pastrami' in Culver City, 'Kenny and Ziggy's' in Houston, and this place takes the cake! The pastrami is thinly sliced and very lean, the bread they use is fantastic, and overall a very juicy pastrami sandwich that will not disappoint at all. You will walk out of Capri... More

A guest from a local suggested the Hot pastrami sandwich w homemade root beer. This was stacked high w some of the finest meat around. Served on a fresh roll with pickle and mustard. Voted Number 1 Pastrami in LA. Trophy on display . Typical NY Deli look. Check out the cooler with some of the most unique soda selection... More
