General grocery shopping is overpriced. Meat market so-so. Not very well cut meat. Not appealing to the eye. Deli pretty good. Breads very good. Hot food preparation section very very good. You pick what exactly you want. Overall, just average.

Dropped by en route from Reno to northern CA. There was a group of employees making sandwiches for takeout and they were OUTSTANDING!. Between their cheerful attitude and their great options, my wife and I both left very happy. I did the Steak and Cheese special which took a little bit longer but was flavorful and not at all greasy.... More

Altho Oliver's is a market, their "deli" section offers a beautiful salad bar and also an array of freshly prepared food items to go - sandwiches, burritos, etc. I have to admit, if I were to be stranded on a desert island, an Oliver's sandwich (es) may be my choice of food. I am partial to roast beef with cheese... More

My favorite store with quality produce, meats, wine, and grocery items that matches or beats the chain stores. My favorite activity of the week is the Friday night wine tasting from 5:00-7:45pm. Four tastes for $4, typically poured by winery reps or distributors. Great selections, and a wonderful way to be introduced to wines you may never taste elsewhere. The... More

This is a grocery store, not a restaurant. However, its one of my favorite places in the area to pick up lunch. I love getting their vegetarian sandwich. They also have a great salad bar, and make awesome soup. Their desserts are pretty good too.

Oliver's had great reviews on tripadvisor and yelp, so we decided to check it out. We were touring through Wine Country and needed a great place to pick up picnic supplies! Boy, did we ever luck out with this local grocery store! We were blown away by the huge selection of prepared salads, cheeses, and other deli treats. We stocked... More

Great produce, excellent selection of meats and cheeses. They have a really good pastry section as well. My favorite are the pizza bagels.

I've lived in Oliver's neighborhood for about 20 years, and saw a lot of great changes over the years. As a company, Oliver's is a great community member - hiring kids from the area, retaining and developing their staff really well. The selection at Oliver's is like a Whole Foods - lite. Consistently high quality, but you can't afford to... More
