This is a very small restaurant that makes amazing use of its space! Seating and parking are both limited, but the food is well worth the effort! The food is fresh and made with local and organic ingredients. The options are great - satisfying vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore preferences without difficulty. The portions are big, leaving no one hungry. And... More

Even though in Southern California there's a Mexican place at any corner, this is certainly above the average level for the quality of its food, as well as the inventiveness in the menu. And it's cheap! There's very limited seating (and parking), but if you manage to sit outside with your friends, the bar scene is not too bad -... More

Stopped in to try it out, the reviews were very good. Three o us had dinner for about 50 dollars. The good was fresh and delicious. The baked cream cheese flan was amazing the churos were terrible though. The soup tonight was chicken soup, it also was very good. I recommend.

During our short stay, we had to go back, it was that good! Very casual but absolutely great food that is also very affordable!

For the last twenty years, my wife and I have a rule; if we get within 50 miles of a Taco Mesa, we find a way to eat there. The menu is incredibly inventive. There are numerous, healthy menu options. The three house salsas are amazing. The avocado/tomatillo salsa may be the single best salsa I have ever eaten. We... More

There are four Taco Mesa's in Orange County. They are very convenient to me. One is near my chiropractor, one is near my optometrist, one is near my sister's house and one is near my house. I make it a point to eat at each one as often as I can. The way they blend flavors is heavenly! Try the... More

Discovered this what can best be described as a kerbside shack with tables outside, sheltered from the street. The food is authentic Mexican , lots of choice and very reasonably priced. A great meal and will certainly return ! If you are close by, make a point to visit.

Great food, fast service. Cheap. Sat outside within contained area but not actually 'inside' the restaurant. Would definitely recommend- don't be put off by the fact it isn't a restaurant per se!

We went there three times during a four night stay in the area. Other reviews do not lie, this place rocks. Tasty, fresh food. Limited parking is the only drawback, but it's totally worth circling the block to get into the parking lot. Yummy fresh salsas and agua frescas. We always took it to go, but the outdoor seating area... More

I love this place. It's a whole in the wall, but well worth the drive! I highly recommend the salad with avocado and blackened chicken. They will make it half carnitas and half chicken for me. There carnitas are fantastic. I love the tacos. If they have the lobster bisque, get it. For about $5 you get a large cup... More
