Best margarita

Tops. Had the pork carnitas with pinil sauce and corn tortillas. Everything is stunningly good. Probably the best Margarita I've ever had. Couldn't even taste the tequila burn but definitely tasted it.

The setting is cool very retro. All the food was made to order, I had carna asada tacos, well done with green grilled onions on top, All the food was good but nothing was spicy at all, food lacked pizzazz everything was a little bland. It was my first visit but I'll go again!

I've been driving by this place for years and never been but always have heard great things about Taco Mesa. Taco mesa lived up to the hype. I have a few tacos and they were great and filled with flavor. The salsas were very good. It's unusual to find good salsa. I will definitely go back and try more food.... More

This place serves a number of yummy entrees with daily specials in addition. The seasoning and sauces are excellent. How do they make rice and beans taste so gourmet? Friendly service too. The food is basically indistiguishable from the plusher and more expensive Taco Rosa. And the streetside ambience is definitely more authentico.

Delish tacos and flavor combinations. Blackened has so much flavor. LOVE the salsas! Lots of choices and tons of jalapeno carrots to snack on while you wait. If you love tacos, this is the place to try. Order at the counter and they call you to pick up your food. Only seating is outdoors.

This little place is the original TM. I frequent the TC in Mission Viejo. The menu is consistent at all. My favorite is the blackened calamari, among the several blackened proteins (fish, calamari, chicken). Today, I had a blackened calamari. Also...the salmon taco with the creamy mango sauce is outstanding

We found out about this place from Internet reviews when looking for good places to eat in the area. We were visiting in the Costa Mesa area on vacation and went back here twice in 2 days for lunch and also dinner meals. The food is authentic, fresh Mexican and served quickly. My favorite was the blackened chicken quesadilla and... More

Wonderful Mexican flavors from a chef raised in Mexico City, Locations in Orange, Mission Viejo and Ladera Ranch. Great Mexican food, you can reserve their tamales ahead of time for holidays. The flan is really amazing too.
