Comfortable relaxing environment with really nice lunch choices, freshly prepared, and great tasting ... the Chicken pot pie and Greek Salad were wonderful

The food here is very fresh and super delicious. Outside patio seating is to die for... Very trendy little place that offers homemade tortilla chips and lentil soup. Perfect for friends or business...

Average at best is all I can say, other than I'm disappointed it wasn't what I'm used to at the Anaheim location that I've been to several times. The location inside "The Lab" (a group of hipster businesses) is a great fit. The service was a bit slow. 3 of 4 of us had chips with our meals & we... More

Came here on a work lunch with our company's vice president and a potential business partner yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised by this little hide away! This coffee shop/lunch place/bakery is located in "The Lab," which is basically a hipster plaza of shops and restaurants in the middle of Costa Mesa. The area use to be the location of a... More

A business friend heard from her daughter who lives in the area about this funky little place. We stopped for breakfast. The coffee was strong and good and we each had the hoarder egg dish along with fruit and toast. The food was really good, and our server, Jillian, was as attentive and nice as she could be. I'd stop... More

I used to think the gypsy den was so cool when I was in college. It has a funky, boho vibe with lots of fun coffee and tea drinks. Now that I have a more discerning palate, I'm not a fan. Their vegan options are not tasty in my opinion and are not healthy. They were very heavy. I like... More

I'd heard great things about Gypsy Den, so I was eager to go. The decor is cute and the waitress was very nice and efficient. The food wasn't anything amazing, though. There were several vegetarian options, which was great, but nothing really earthshattering. I'll try it again, though.

OK, so I might be a bit biased as I am not your typical trendy health food/organic/vegetarian OC girl. I came here for a quick meeting with a few people so it was not my choice, but I had always wondered what they were about so I was happy to try it. The menu is quite small for someone who... More

Gypsy Den is a cool and funky little cafe I absolutely love. When I go there it's always been for a hot cuppa tea and dessert. Their creme brulee is so good! It has a very relaxing atmosphere, perfect to kick back and read a book or have coffee with a friend, not to mention a very friendly staff. I... More

Casual eatery with polite service. Favorite dishes are the black bean burger on a pretzel bun and the Vegan Chipotle Chicken.
