Small place big flavor

Looks small from the outside but has a great feel inside. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly, and the food is delicious. We are locals and eat here probably once a month. If you are from out of town and need an inexpensive place to stop and get fueled up, this one is great.

Everything is just fine here. The eggplant parma is my favorite -- topped with really great cheese. Pizzas seem to be a favorite here. Usually great service but they have a large and young staff so sometimes you might get someone not in the know. Prices cannot be beat.

All entrees I have tried at this restaurant have been excellent, and their pizza is very good (do NOT order extra cheese...too salty). You will not be sorry with this one.

Eat in or order out (for pick up) generous portions, marinara sauce is excellent, pizzas are big. Warning...do not order extra cheese! The restaurant itself is small and noisy, but that goes along with the experience :-)

I'll keep it simple.. they've been around forever, and theres an obvious reason for that. I can't really vouch for the pasta dishes since I've never had one although my buddies didn't look too impressive. The way I look at it, there's only one reason why you NEED to go to Doria's. It's not the "Haus of Pasta", its the... More

Haus of Pizza has great, award winning pizza in Orange County, CA, (per the OC Register many years ago, which is how we found it). If you like mushrooms, instead of ordering them as a combo on your pizza, try getting a side order of sauteed mushrooms, and spooning them onto your pizza or pasta. 5 stars for the pizza,... More

Although the non-food related ratings are below top-notch, I'm rating Doria's Haus of Pizza EXCELLENT because the pizza is the best I've had in this part of the country. [Disclosure: I grew up eating Italian food on the east coast] My first meal here was back in the early 1980's just after I moved to California, and I have lost... More

I used to eat here all the time when I lived in Costa Mesa but I moved to Reno a few years ago and the is no Haus of Pizza in Reno. Never the less I make several trips a year back to Costa Mesa and Haus of Pizza is always a must.

We live in Washington and come to Anaheim/Costa Mesa area a few times a year to visit family. We always make sure to stop into this bustling restaurant because the food is FANTASTIC! Tortellini with pink sauce....why hasn't anyone else thought of the pink sauce?! Lasagna, pizza, tortellini...so far I've loved everything I've had there, and this is coming from... More

Doria's is a busy, cozy, neighborhood spot with great pizza. Regular or thin crust per your preference. Fresh, flavorful toppings a well as crisp salads. Beer and wine. Good for couples or family. They try hard to please the customer.
