We loved the place: the food, the service, the ambiance... as close as you can come to a slice of France right here in Orange County. The owner, chef Laurent, cooks right along the other chefs and is a delight to watch. The open French kitchen is an <open scene> for the visitors to watch while they eat, and it... More

It is THE best restaurant on the west coast. The reason is only the best ingredients are used and you can tell the difference. The staff is trained. They know what to do and when. They have one person walking around with bread (delicious hot baguette) and butter, another refilling your water, and someone to remove your plate when your companion... More

It is not the first time we came here with friends. Every plate is perfect, sometimes even more than perfect for the taste. It is not exactly French gastronomy, I would say it is adapted to USA taste. The fish are especially well prepared, fish of the day was absolutely delicious. Some little criticism about service, it is to my... More

Went here for my birthday dinner upon others recommendation. The food is quite good, just very expensive. It a place for an occasion.

Service - 5 Food - 4 Atmosphere - 4 Danny (Dragmir) was so knowledgeable about wine but did not try to take the spotlight in the dinner. I asked him a simple question about how long Oregon Pinots were aged in barrel and he had great in-depth knowledge and then got back to the answer which was it depends on... More

For a French woman to say a French restaurant is excellent in the US is saying something! the ambiance and food and service are super. 5 stars! I come here every few months and it has never disappointed... and quite reasonable for the level of food it is... you won't be sorry!

I rated average only because of the waiter we had. We enjoy this restaurant but the waiter we had definitely had an attitude. We are a fun table of 6 and we are very easy to please, however, for some reason this waiter gave us attitude. Everyone at our table agreed. I think it started when we were trying to... More

We've been eating here for many years, and it was great. Now, it's lousy: the lobster salad has shells in it and too much mint; the scallops are undercooked but its leeks are overcooked and, consequently, bitter; the Jidori chicken is tasteless. A restaurant like this requires careful execution, which it no longer has. You will be disappointed.

We celebrated a birthday dinner here and it turned out to be a good choice. We had a number of different dishes, including foie gras (yea, it's back!), the calamari, the mussels, the spare ribs, the special lobster entree, the lamb special, and the clam chowder. Everything was delicious and cooked with some interesting flavors and combinations. We opted to... More
