Excellent French cuisine. Heavy on the price but a real culinary experience. The menu is different every time you go there for lunch

I last wrote about March Moderne in 2011. Since then I have visited occasionally, with the most recent visit in the last week. The hostess desk remains as terrible as ever, still trying to pawn off the worst tables in the restaurant on us. The service was okay, but nothing special. What has always made this restaurant worth the visit... More

Marche moderne is always excellent in every way. The servers are efficient, pleasant, and attentive. The food is varied and always very good. Their $25 3 course lunch is unbeatable in terms of the price quality ration.

Just back from a lovely evening at Marche Moderne. It is such a joy to dine in an establishment that still understands the art of dining. The menu is diverse and fit for foodies, services is attentive and educated and the noise level is moderate so that you can enjoy the company of those you are with. Dinner is delicious... More

I wrote a review of this restaurant over a year ago in which I complained about the service. I remember that night. I have been back at least 5 times since that meal and everything was perfect. Of course, now I have a favorite table and waiter. :-))) The food continues to amaze and delight as do the prices. But... More

Fantastic, I still can not believe they are upstairs in a mall. A very nice mall, but still. Top tier service and exceptional food. While I get it all the time I could not help myself, the Braised Shortrib was out of sight. The beet appetizer, soup, salads all top notch. The other entrees around the table were all fantastic.... The food was great and the restaurant would have received 5 stars if not for the "atmosphere". For a nice dining place like this the tables really are too close to each other. It feels cramped. I realize real estate is expensive but if we pay for a nice cuisine we do not only pay for the food but of... More

Ok, let's get the bad news out of the way. I love great food, but I had trouble figuring out the menu. Lots of foreign words and food terms that I may have heard of but couldn't place. Sorry, I live in a college town in Colorado so chain restaurants are more the norm where I come from. And sadly... More

We returned after a number of months to one of our favorite restaurants Marche. We started with two very healthy cocktails, a half order of really nice oysters. a salad tower that was excellent (Panzanella) My wife had a wrapped Langoustine in a broth that was outstanding. I had smoked salmon with another great sauce. These were all small plates,... More
