Lovely restaurant. Good food. Pricey but good for special events. It's inside the mall but at least it's easy to find parking.

We have been going to Marche Moderne for almost a decade now and each time feels like we have been transported to a bistro in the heart of Paris. The menu is always changing but there are always classic favorites available. The prix fixe luncheon menu is the best deal in town. $25 for a three course menu including a... More

I do mean the best. For lunch I had a Spanish salad with olives, chorizo, cheese, chopped cucumbers and other vegetables, fresh dijon vinegarette. In housemadewarm baguette, and bread followed by salmon-trout with a caper vermouth cream sauce that was to die for delicious mashed potatoes with parsnips then a creamy cheese cake. All 3 courses $25. They really are... More

Stopped for lunch on a Friday, had to wait 40 minutes for an opening - that was my first clue we were in the right place! Superb table service, and outstanding french food - we ordered the daily fish special, and were not disappointed! We can hardly wait for an excuse to go back!

The menu is very french, a little complicated, I had the beet salad and the albacore. Both were very nice. The rest of the menu is sophisticated, a little overpriced, but excellent service. Great wine list. The rest rooms are a bit uncomfortable.

Although we had reservations and called ahead to confirm our arrival time, we had to wait 15' outside the restaurant prior to being seated. The restaurant itself is cramped and crowded. In fact, there is not enough room to walk up between the tables in the main dining room. The service was slow from arrival to departure. We started with... More

This is my favorite restaurant in the O.C. It is charming in a relaxed way. The wine list and service is top notch. My favorite octopus salad is the best.

Food and service is always fantastic....one of the finest restaurants in Orange County! My wife and I have had quite a few meals here and are always amazed at something unique and delicious with each meal! Marche is the definition of "fine" dining!

Visited Marche Moderne for a lunch while was shopping. Nice ambiance, good food, good service. Nothing "wow" about that:)

An OC staple for fine rustic French cuisine. The Jidori chicken prepared in a tanjine is divine. I always swap the roasted potatoes for pomme frites. Excellent wine list and fine cheese/ charcuterie selection. The brussel sprouts are a 10. If you are solo, dining at the bar is great. Also a great spot for special occasion with group.
