I arrived at my hotel in Costa Mesa CA late around 9:00pm and unpacked my things by 9:30. I asked the front desk for a late night eatery and she recommended Skosh Monahan's, the kitchen closes at 10pm. It was a sports bar that served good pub fare. They have a nice beer selection and boasted a wide selection of... More

Food is great at this authentic Irish restaurant, the ambiance is truly that of an old Iris town and the servers are very friendly.

For a sports bar and restaurant, it does have excellent ambience. We did take our servers advice and had the lamb chops special of the day. Very flavorful and the garlic potatoes went well with it. Getting to watch the Lakers pull off a win while we dined was just a sweet bonus. I highly recommend their holiday Irish Eggnog.... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant/bar as it was within walking distance, and that was what we wanted. It doesn't look like much - it is a sports bar after all - but the food and service are exceptional. There's a fairly quiet dining room in the area opposite the bar, which can be noisy, especially during Monday night football. I... More

Cheap, Cheap Cheap, for California that is. First night we went we had free coupons for appetizers. There were six of us and each pair had a coupon and they honored ALL of them. Beer was cold and half the price of everywhere else we went.Service, a little slow but the friendliuness and the courtesy made up for it.Second night... More

Was excited to try this place after living here in CM for years. Finally went and I was very disappointed. The food was not great and was too pricey. With so many other options for food and drinks I will not be back again.

Red Carpet pictures, great venue for special events. The stuff was overwhelmed with our crowd - over 100 people! Food and beer and what else do we need? Generous pour from the bar lady (little tipsy) at reasonable prices for the OSCARS party. Will come back again. MeuterMedia

I don't understand why this place isn't busier. The food is very good, the location is excellent. Then, I realized on our third and last visit...it is just not clean. Even the young girls serving us didn't seem clean or experienced. Hate to begrudge a place that locals clearly enjoy. Not being a local, I saw dirty restrooms, dirty tables... More

A friendly Irish Pub this was place was not. Rowdy crowd and undercooked food, with poor service delivered with an attitude. Very disappointed. Won't be coming back
