This restaurant is an old time favorite of mine. I enjoyed the traditional spanish-cuban menu and the sangria.

I travelled to L.A.'s Costa Mesa with work and stayed at the nearby Hilton. Having dined in too many hotel lobbies in our time we decided to venture out to somewhere a bit more interesting. Not more than a few hundred metres from the hotel we came across Habana, and we're instantly attracted by it's beautifully lit outside area and... More

We visit them at nigh. Very beautiful mall and restaurant. But food was okay. With that price, I expect better quantity. Check their photos and other reviews, you will have good idea about it.

Lets start with the good...1. Atmosphere. The restaurant is inviting, has a great patio and is located in a wonderful and unique hidden gem of a shopping area and very cool old trailers made into shops 2. The help is very welcoming and makes you feel at home...3. The food is served in or on blue tin plates and pots... More

Had dinner here January 28 with business friends. The patio area was great, especially to people coming from the cold, snow-covered Midwest. We appreciated the heaters set up around the tables and the many candle displays. We all ordered different dinners--salmon, chicken and the house specialty beef dish. There was something good on each plate, but no one thought their... More

This place in attached to a cute shopping area, called "LAB, The Antimall." I will make this review uncharacteristically brief. The vegetarian empanadas lunch appetizer ($7) were delicious. The crust was lightly crispy, yet tender and oh so flavorful. They came with delicious banana-habanero ketchup, not spicy at all. The lump crab cake lunch appetizer ($12) was wonderful. The 2... We originally decided to return to this restaurant more because of the beautiful outdoor patio atmosphere that this place offers vs the food we remembered from a few years ago. But, upon returning here, we then discovered a dish that surprised us by how tasty it was: it was the marinated Skirt Steak "estillo Churasco", topped with chimichurri, spanish rice,... More

Chose Habana to have a quick Saturday afternoon brunch. The menu was somewhat disappointing, but chose the tortilla potato brunch item, it came with salad on top and a side of some type of red sauce. Overall it was tasty but lacked seasoning and the portion size was small for a $12 item. My friend chose the chicken salad and... More

Went here on a date and LOVED it. Sat inside (never my preference) but the trendy inside was perfectly lit and very attractive. The only down side was that the cement walls didn't absorb sound so it was a bit echo-y. The last two times I sat outside and it was lovely. Down side is that the parking lot is... More
