Excellent quality with unique flavors

Fresh & unique menu. Hip and casual new-urban environment (exposed concrete floors, surrounded by trees, shrubs outside. Nice patio area...try to get a seat next to the building. Somewhat pricey...entrees $20-$26 and wine in the $10-$14 range.

We have been enjoying the great Cuban food at Habana' since it opened 20 years ago. Great service, food, music and atmosphere. My favorite is the Ropa Vieja and my wife's is the Tamale Pie, but we have enjoyed everything we have tried. We are looking forward to celebrating their 40th anniversary.

A fair selection of items, well prepared. Many of the dishes have familiar sounding names, but the preparation here is likely to be unique. For example, the Shrimp Ceviche included some very flavorful, somewhat spicy shrimp served beautifully in a coconut shell. The shrimp were tasty, and we enjoyed them especially since they were so different in both preparation and... More

Located in a bohemian anti-mall. Ambience was great. Parking sucks. Food was not as good as we hoped. Had the mango roast pork sandwich ($12) which was akin to a pork sloppy joe. More pork would hace helped. Came with fries and coleslaw. Fries were not hot and fresh. Girlfriend had empanadas ($9) which were short on fillings and high... More

If you're looking for some small plates, I think this place would be just fine. My girlfriend and I stopped here with the intention of eating dinner, but after looking at the menu decided to leave. The prices were just too high for the type of food that I saw coming out of the kitchen. It was a fun place... More

Habana is a delightful eatery. I enjoy coming here for lunch with co-workers as well as on a casual date night. The ambiance is nice come day or night.

Ambiance, service and food is Fantastic!! My cousin and I meet up here as often as we can. I always order the pork belly and on this last visit I opted for something different. I wasn't as excited about this dish and our server noticed. He offered to switch out my choice for the pork belly and actually did it.... More

A spontaneous choice for a early Saturday evening appetizer and cocktails proved to be one of the best foody experiences in Orange County that I have had experienced in the past two years. The patio with heated seating was very pleasant. Decided to have the white Sangria, fruity and not too sweet. We decided to try the ceviche, empandas and... More

Arrived for lunch around noon and were delighted to be seating in the sunny courtyard for an afternoon lunch on this sunny So Cal day. The service was wonderful and our waitress took some time to explain the dishes, their contents, what are favorites, what were HER favorites etc. We started with drinks. A Mojito for my friend and a... More

Very nice atmosphere - great for a date. The food was pricy and bland. I had the smoked Halibut and was expecting something flavorful - disappointed!
