Love this place

I've been to many Native Food restaurants and this one in Costa Mesa is the most unique with it's layout and design. It is in a round building. Outdoor seating is available. Parking is not easy, but they do have valet parking during lunch which helps. I always get the Portobello-Sausage Burger... read more

I tried to order lunch without oil in it. The manager told me that pretty much everything on the menu has added oil, all the sauces, salad dressings, even the soups. I could not even get the side of grilled vegetables without oil, because they pre-grill them in the morning with oil. I had the Azteca salad without dressing which... More

This was the most amazing food ever! I am making a lot of it at home from the cookbook and am so happy with the results. We try to make everything from scratch including dressings and these are wonderful. The lavender lemon aid is one of our favorites. Give this a try if you are just starting out as a... More

I'm a vegetarian so researched the restaurants close to where I was staying in Costa Mesa and found this one which had great reviews. Went there for lunch one day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was friendly, the restaurant clean and the food delicious. The menu choice is quite adequate with plenty to choose from. I had a chilli... More

So i was suspicious, but didn't want to be rude, so i gave it a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. Very tasty and not too wierd for my first vegan experience. Had the native bar be que chicken salad, very large portion, good value.

Visited our friend living in the area after our wedding and he took us here. We ordered half the dishes on the menu and had a vegan feast! Some of the best tasting food on our vacation to California. The tacos were so amazing you'd think you were eating in Mexico. The nachos are better than the real thing, possibly... More

I went with my sister who is a vegetarian. The place had rave reviews, and we wanted to be close to the Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts. I had a portobello and sausage burger, that was made with seitan. It would've been much better had it been only the portobello mushrooms. The sweet potato fries were ok, not spectacular.... More

For the last week I have been down in the OC area and we have taken salads out for 4 out of 5 nights from here. We ask for all of the dressings and anything "wet" to be on the side so we can put it in our fridge or I can bring it to work the next day for... More

You know a place is great when, while you want to try other things on the menu...what you had last was so good, you wan tot keep ordering it. Native foods will never win any decor awards but their food is excellent all the time ...flavors are thought out and well tested, inventive, fresh and fun. There is no place... More

None of us are vegan or vegetarian but we were still able to eat a very satisfying meal. We went during the middle of the week around dinner time and the line was out the door. It moved relatively fast and we were able to get a table inside for our group of 4. We ordered saigon rolls, twister wrap,... More
