Awesome vegan food!

I'm not a vegan and never imagined vegan food could taste good, but the dishes prepared here are all both very healthy and tasty! My only complaint is that the booths to sit in were a little tight, but not worth docking them on the review because the food was so well-prepared. I'm impressed!

We stopped by Native Foods before heading out to South Coast Plaza and loved our lunch. We shared the "chicken" avocado club with steamed kale and seasoned fries. The food is super fresh and delicious and I'm sure non-vegetarians would enjoy this restaurant as well. The drinks are fabulous too. It's hard to choose from the lavender lemonade, watermelon Fresca... More

My daughter and I had dinner here one night. It was dimly lit, cold and the booth seats weren't that comfortable. It really felt like being in a cafeteria. You order at the cashier and they bring you your food. The yummy exotic drinks with free refills are self-served, so yes, it's casual here. The food was excellent. I had... More

In October, they had the most AMAZING seitan steak sandwich, and I truly wish it was always on their menu! I love Native Foods and wish they had a Newport Beach location. When the Fashion Island location went out of business, I was so bummed, but I am happy that the Costa Mesa location is always busy. My favorite regular... More

This food is so fresh and healthy AND delicious. The food is so innovative. I would eat here every day if I could - it's fabulous. I love the meatball sandwich and the Bombay bowl is fantastic.

For those of you who need, love or are exploring vegetarian food this is a great place to visit. it is not inexpensive and it is difficult to park at certain times of the day. But it is worth.

The food is very good but parking is almost impossible, especially at lunch time. The inside booths are made for very skinny folks. If you are a little round like me you can't sit in one of the booths. They have a lot of menu items and everything I have tried has been good. If the place had parking and... More

I know I can always rely on Native Foods for a healthy, vegetarian dish. I had the Moroccan Bowl which had tofu, quinoa, grilled vegies, almonds and raisins. All very deliciously seasoned with Moroccan spices. A great combination of heat and sweet! It was especially fun, as I brought a friend, who had never been, and she loved it!

Vegetarian and alternative menu. Looked as though the food may have been substantial at first however after ordering and eating the dish, I was left feeling a need to order another dish to fulfil my needs.Drinks on offer were basically full of sugar, notably the teas. Went with water.
