While the service is consistently inconsistent, the generous portions of comfort food make the visit worth the trip. Anbience and value keep Norm's busy 24/7. While I usually prefer their breakfast menu, last night the steak and shrimp proved a delicious way to end the week. Their chicken gumbo soup is a favorite. Ending the meal with strawberry shortcake was... More

You can't go wrong here. The prices are right. The food is pretty good. The breakfast wrap is the best I really enjoy the breakfast platters. I always add strawberries to my pancakes. Its a cheap date. NomNom.

I have been dining with this Norm's location for quite a while now.....good, solid food @ reasonable prices and like a 'neighborhood Coffee-Shop'. The Service can get a little frenetic and unfocused @ times but this was only because they are always full! Recently, just dropping in for a cup of coffee, I was informed that they 'upcharge' now for... More

Walk into any Norms and you feel like you're stepping back in time. Don't waste your time at depressing Denny's. Norms has a fun vibe and awesome food for a fair price. Staff is on it with quick service. It's worth the trip just for dessert.

My family has been going to Norms for 30 years. It just brings back good memories of comfort food and remembering the kids growing up and wanting to go to Norms! We usually stay a long time and visit, with never a feeling of over-staying our welcome. I admit, the prices have gone up, but that can be applied to... More

We ate at Norms twice while in the area. We chose a special that included soup, salad, dinner and dessert! 1st time I had the liver and onions and I haven't had any better in memory. What a sweet deal. Good soup, salad was fresh and a brownie sundae at the end. Vern chose a steak and potato, also really... More

Eaten here several times and at different times of the day and evening. Always found good service, friendly staff, good food and a great value. Makes me feel as if they really appreciate me dinning with them.

LOVE this place. Sick of dorm food and too tired to cook after studying. Norms was a nice break, inexpensive, and I had leftovers! Dinners have soup, salad, the entree, two sides, bread and a drink. I ate the soup and salad, and took the rest to go. I'll be back soon.

Authentic American diner, with several locations around OC. The Costa Mesa location is a great place to get breakfast, whether at 2am or 10am. The rest of the day is just okay. Super convenient, and always open.
