I have been to Scott's several times for lunch with customers and the food is always excellent! It is a great place to take customers for a special lunch. The restaurant is very pretty, but not stuffy. I think the menu changes periodically but I haven't made a bad choice. Today I had the grilled mahi mahi with spaghetti zucchini... More

Had the Macadamia nut spinach side and ($8) and the fish tacos ($11 for two mini tacos). Fish tacos were good enough to order again. Macadamia nut spinach side -oh, gee, how hard did you try to make this tasteless?! Couldn't take the nuts. Spinach was totally cooked to be tasteless and just awful! Bread and butter were good. Pretty... More

We had dinner here our wedding anniversary, the food was very nice and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and ambiance, my only negative comment is our server was patronising compared to other servers and staff in the restaurant but otherwise a enjoyable evening.

We came for Sunday brunch and had a nice meal. Despite having seen Scott's for a couple of decades this was our first visit. I was surprised at how nicely the interiors looked. Great design! We shared the calamari and shrimp cocktail. Both were presented well and tasted very good. Two of us had the Eggs Benedict with NY strip... More

Scott's is overpriced. You are paying for the swanky ambiance and proximity to the theater. If you're interested in the food, try King's Fish House for more variety and better quality. In the Newport-Mesa area, the best fish joint hands down is The Crab Cooker.

Food and service exceptional. We enjoyed the happy hour and drink specials. Fish was great. The prices are on the high end but worth it.

Last year we had dinner here and enjoyed it, today was a bit disappointing (I would probably give 3.5 out of 5 if I could). Better than average, not as good as very good. Their paella was very tasty, but texture was all wrong--the rice was not short-grain and so didn't absorb enough of the broth--tasted a bit soupy. Calamari... More

Scotts just isn't what it used to be. No longer Scotts Seafood, just Scotts. It used to be a favorite. But in the last few years doesn't seem as good. Every 6 months or so we try again, hoping it's back to the way we enjoyed so much, but not so much. Have no plans on returning again. Too many... More

We returned to Scott's for their mouth watering Provencal calamari during happy hour and ended up ordering their crisp caesar salad, sweet hamachi, ahi tartare tower, tasty truffle mac & cheese, & margarita pizza to go with the calamari. Needless to say, we were full and called it a night. It was the wonderful service from Noel and Mario that... More

We got into Newport around 6:30 and the hotel recommended Scott's. The hotel made a reservation for us at 8:15 (our request). The first clue should have been the parking lot was not full and valet was not busy (Friday night). The food was mediocre and price point was high for the food. Service was ok, but it was obvious...
