Was going through photos and discovered I didn't review our experience here last March, which was wonderful. Our server was friendly and efficient, and our food and drinks all delicious. I fondly remember my linguini and white clam sauce. Would love to return if in the area again!

Convenient location in the South Coast Plaza mall caught our eye and we stopped by for lunch. Ordered a calamari appetizer (very nice); a spaghetti meatball plate (average) and a grilled salmon salad (with a child's portion of salmon on it though at full dinner prices). Service was very nice and the restaurant wasn't too noisy so we could hear... More

For years Maggiano's had the best Tiramisu in town. This dessert out beat all the other Italian and non Italian restaurants here. It was our favorite dessert while we dined in, did take out and ordered for holiday parties. I have noticed in the past six months or more that the Tiramisu is not the same. Quality and taste have... Very good service... and excellent food as usual. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and wine prior to capping-off our New Year festivities. Take-out lunch was even provided a day or two later.

Being that Magliano's is a chain, you sometimes wonder if food will be consistently good. At this particular location, I can say absolutely yes. I didn't give it a top score for a couple reasons which some may find too particular, but are important to me. One, the waiters tried to clean our dishes before we were all done with... More

I use to love Maggianos. I'm from Dallas and use to eat weekly at the location in Dallas at Sillow Bend mall. Wait time was 1.5 hours only to be given a bar table with child. I refused to accept the table. After making me wait with a beeper again, the lady managing the tables tried to talk down to... More

We needed up getting the dine for two special for $39.99. We got the stuffed mushrooms, spaghetti with meat sauce for myself, baked Ziti for my boyfriend, and crime brûlée for dessert. And then took home two pasta dishes. Everything was excellent. It was a long wait so we decided to eat at the bar. The bartenders where all very... More

I can’t remember the last time I dined at Maggiano’s with a group of fewer than eight people. I’ve have attended retirement parties here and most recently was invited to a birthday celebration in the San Remo room. The vibe is always lively and fun, and the food is reliably very good. Not awesome; but very good. The dining area... More

While in the OC, I’ve eat at Maggiano’s two different times. Both times I had the tomato caprese appetizer salad and as usual, it was delicious. This is one of my favorite foods. The first I ate there I had the spaghetti and meatball. It was good but just your typical spaghetti. I also had the chocolate cake for dessert.... More

We dined prior to A Christmas Carol at South Coast Reparatory. The waiter was excellent and the food was very good. Maggiano's was very crowded as it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, however, our waiter and the entire staff provided excellent service and was able to get our party of 8 in served and on our way in plenty of...
