Best of Vietnam

I love the garlic noodles and the appetizer items combo. The diner items are a bit on the pricey side but oh so delicious. The garlic flavoring of probably everything can be a bit on the heavy side.

I went here with a friend for small plates during happy hour because it was close to the Segerstrom Center. The first seating for dinner was at 5:30 -- not enough time to get to the theater for the pre-ballet lecture at 6:30. The bar was full and we were shown to a roomy corner booth in the restaurant --... More

I was very impressed with CrustaceAn in Beverly Hills so I was excited to try its Orange County location. It was not very busy on a Tuesday night so we got seated right away. The resto is dimly lit and decor is sophisticated with a lot of red all over. The lemon drop was ok, it could use a little... More

you know you're in for a trat when you step through the doors of this very creative restaurant. The contemporary Asian upscale restaurant is coast and yet avant guard at the same time. The ever changing menu is clever and has a fresh new flair while at the same time all the dishes are filled with flavor. The service is... More

Not just any restaurant inside just any mall. This is AnQi inside South Coast Plaza in the OC. A beautiful space with an interesting menu presented by knowledgable, friendly servers. The bar mixes great innovative libations, but the beer selections are minimal at best and the prices on their extensive wine list is obscene. The menu: a fantastic assortment of... More

I am obsessed with AnQi's garlic noodles. And their mini ahi tacos topped with caviar..yummy. I have had their short ribs before and they are scrumptous. The staff was very courteous and efficient. A lttle pricey, but worth every bite.

Stopped by today for lunch at the noodle bar and it seemed a great idea for a tasty quick lunch. To my surprise and the guest to my left and the later arriving guests to my right we could all agree that the service was subpar, rude and unfriendly. Not being judged on appearance I could say because everyone was... More

A unique atmosphere and décor made for a really superb celebratory evening. Great appetizers (lobster pot-stickers and giant shrimp), and the mains were great also - the special crab is very special, the steak and the whitefish were also very good. Our waiter Peter was one the best, happiest and most helpful we have experienced anywhere. Niggles? The wine-by-the-glass is... More

We went for lunch, average food as we were hungry but dim sum overcooked, my husbands garlic noodles were blah and my meal was rather average. The cost was 49.00 which for a good lunch I would not have minded but for plain uneventful food that we received seemed pricey.
