Came back for more than sandwich and had the "Meat Lover's Pizza". Ba-Da-Bing! Forget'about it. Ray and Carmiena know how to make pizza. Sauce is perfect ratio to cheese and meat. Ciao is keeps riasing to the top of our places to eat list..do you think they could be convinced to open for breakfast?

My husband and I visited here last night.....we had been here only once before since it isn't near our house. We enjoyed our meal last time so we decided to head here again since we were going to be in the neighborhood. I'm so glad we did! I was in a pasta mood rather than pizza or sandwiches (which are... There is an East Coast attitude here...the service is brisk and the attitude is too. But, if you love Italian Food that comes from San Francisco this is your place. A mere 14 seats but food that is done just right. Locals love it and now we do too. Pizza is great but the sandwiches are the real find here....

We were in the area and hungry for pizza. I love Trip advisor because this is how I found Ciao! The place is small but has character. Owners are a husband and wife who were both friendly and made us feel welcome. The pizza!! I love trying Pizza while away from home and this place is why. This is one... More

We were not sure where to find a place to eat as we were from out of town and thought we would try this place. So glad we did. It's in a little strip mall but don't let that scare you. We had a great server and everyone working there wanted to make sure we enjoyed our food. I had... More

I stay in Costa Mesa for long periods of time for business reasons. I stay at the Marriott residence which is 30 feet from the Ciao!. When I get back from the office and I'm really tired I know I can count on Ray and his wife to bring one of the best pizzas around. I come from Italy and... More

We have bought their sandwiches on a couple occasions and loved them each time. I would say best sandwiches ever. We have got the fresh to order focaccia bread and was so good. The atmosphere is nice too. It is a small place with memorabilia all over walls. The owners are really nice and spend time with customers. Definitely recommend... More

The owners take great pride in their resturant. The husband is of Italian decent and knows italian food. Very casual. The meals are freshly prepared. The wife is from Chcago area and there are all sorts of pictures on the walls of Cubs and Bears. If you are staying at the residence inn on Baker street in Costa Mesa, this... More
