If you find yourself in South Coast Plaza, try the Claim Jumper which is connected to the mall with an outside entrance on the Bristol St. side. GREAT service while we were there and it was during the holidays. The menu is varied and reasonable - give it a try.

In town for meetings and went to dinner with old work buddy and had a great filet and bake potato and both were excellent! I would most surely eat there again the steak cooked to order and delicious

Price is worth the amount of food. They cook it perfectly. Atmosphere is great for relaxing or reading a book. The service is always there for you, trained excellently. A great place for a meal during the day and for night go grab a beer.

When does a "freebie" go way above-and-beyond this ol' veteran's wildest expectations? When it's hosted so honorably and generously by Keith, CJ's SCP Manager. Wife and I were ably and courteously served our meals by Matthew Haynes. In short, we felt honored to be there and will join them again soon. We salute Keith and Matthew, as well as Claim... More

This restaurant reminds me of Cheesecake Factory...lots of choices, huge memo. huge portions....good food. Not as much cheesecake but the chocolate cake is DEVINE....service was good. A great place to go for family and work gatherings.

We were treated to a birthday dinner in the Fountain Valley location. It was the first time we had been to the CJ in many, many years. In fact, we rememberd the great happy hours they use to have and dancing the night away in the bar area. No more, lots of seating where dance floor use to be! It's... More

The reason for my title is, we couldn't find the place. We called the restaurant asking for directions. No one had the gumption to tell us that it was in the Mall. We were first timers at this location, how were we to know? We finally got there. It was crowded, but the food was as good as we expected.... More

I used to love Claim Jumpers. I remember when they first started appearing in Orange County, but I have to say the South Coast Plaza was disappointing. I don't know if it was an off day for them, if the acquisition of them by Landry's has effected the quality or what, but it was a disappointing meal. The French onion... More

I go to this restaurant near to my house all the time. Have not been here in a couple of months over summer. Portions are shrinking, you no longer get muffins with your meal. No apple. Food size is smaller but the plate is still huge. Service is poor. They were not busy last night. Waitress Ruffie. Did not remove... More

We often eat here before going to the theater across the street. Reliably good food, fast and courteous service. No problem with sharing a dinner, and the portions are adequate.
