This used to be our favorite place. Both the bar and dining room menus were great. The past 3 times we have gone we were so disappointed we said we would never go back. After last night I think we mean it. I had the burger last night and it was over cooked to the point I could not eat... more

Lark Creek Inn used to be a great place to eat great food in a beautiful setting. Our family has been eating there since it opened and have always gone for Easter brunch. The basket of scones and pastries that used to come to the table is now a first course offering . The menu was not well thought out.... more

Extremely shocked at how far this reastuarant has fallen. It can't fall any further either. This restuarant was the gold standard on how a restaurant should be from service to food. Not sure about the other bad reviews, but I had a wonderful dinner experience at this restaurant. I had a narrow choice of restaurants to choose from because there were two expecting mothers in our dinner party and they were on special diets. This used to be our go-to restaurant for fine food and a romantic evening. Not anymore! We gave it 3 tries recently and are now done with it. 2 of those times we were with groups of 6. Had dinner here last Friday night, and while it used to be my favorite Marin restaurant, it has slipped a bit. The service was slow, and not that friendly.
