Great food and service

Great view of the San Diego Bay from inside. Delicious Italian food - the pasta was fabulous! They even had a 3 course dinner for a very good price. Nice wine list. Very good service. We were there late on a Monday night

This is one of the best views of San Diego, and you can enjoy a nice bottle of wine and a nice Italian meal. They won me over in my visit there. I found the staff very welcoming and attentive, and the food quality was what I expected.

This was a "fancy" dinner while on this trip to San Diego and we were not disappointed. We had the sweetest waitress by the name of Gladys and she was also very funny. Both our meals were full of flavor and the pasta was cooked perfectly.

Service was top notch. They catered to my every need efficiently and effectively. The pasta that me and my girlfriend had was excellent. Food was moderately priced. The only thing to stay away from was the Bruschetta which was overpriced and bland. But everything else was delicious!! Nice view of the city as well.

I would guess that this is a place for convention goers and tourists that being said I was both and they did well with our group of 25. Food and service were both pretty good but the best thing is the view of the bay and San Diego. Worth you going

This is great Italian food - the prices are a little steep but if you are looking for a romantic venue, this is perfect. My husband and I come here occasionally for dinner and always enjoy it.

Yes there are several Il Fornaios out there but our regular spot for the last 10 years has been Coronado's Il Fornaio. We go every month for the Festa Regionale menu and it is always excellent and great value with food of a high standard. We went just a couple of nights ago and had an outstanding meal. My wife... I can care for my anniversary with my wife, and we were seated promptly by the water without a reservation. We were greeted quickly by our waiter, and served our food sooner than we thought. our drinks never went empty either. They were filled up before I knew I needed a refill. The food was absolutely incredible as it was... More

Had a nice dinner with my husband. We tried the calamari and seabass, both very delicious. Our lovely waitress Gladys was superb, she constantly came to our table and had great suggestions on what wines to try. This place is perfect for a romantic dinner or to celebrate special occasions, I highly recommend it.
