Favorite place on Coronado

This was a gem of a find! We had brunch here everyday while staying at the Hotel Del. Brunch is well worth the wait - definitely where the locals eat and great food/prices

My grandkids love this place, because of the counter and juke box. Best choices ever, for great comfort food and old fashioned milkshakes. Good coffee! I use to go every week. Need to go back!

We stopped in for lunch after the peak time, and enjoyed tasty and ample servings of American food from a large menu. Fun ambience, a luncheonette-type of feel, with seats at the counter and booths with juke boxes

Enjoyed a great breakfast with Applewood Bacon. The service was good and loved the atmosphere Very nostalgic and it is the real deal with a juke box on every table. Friendly staff The line for the coffee was interesting since there is a Starbucks right across the street.

Counter and juke box make the atmosphere. Coffee cold and doughnut a bit old. Atmosphere A+, food B-. A blast from the past

I admit to being a mimosa brunch kind of girl--and Clayton's is anything but--but it is quite simply the perfect coffee shop and is a must-do anytime we're in San Diego or Coronado. Don't worry if you see a line outside (you will)--because the waitresses are so efficient, the line moves fast and you'll be seated before you know it.... More

Went on a Sunday and had to wait for seating. Fun experience. Good breakfast. Homey feeling. A bit pricey, but it is Coronado.

Food is always good here and wait staff friendly and fast. Go during the week as weekends there will be a line around the corner and down the street.

Stopped for a respite from shopping on the strip in Coronado. Had coffee and desserts and loved it! Yummy homemade pie, brownies and cookies, good coffee. Service was exceptional. Will go back.

Awesome quaint decor throw back interior including old school juke box stations at each table.Avoid the chain locations you can get in any city, stop here for local, fresh home cooking. Had no wait for table staff is friendly and attentive prices fair. Corn beef hash is home made and awesome as seen in photo attached along with rye toast,... More
