This diner was packed our entire weekend at Coronado Island. The service is great, the food is good diner food, the shakes are WOW, and the prices are very reasonable (compared to the Hotel Del). They even have a working juke box! This will be a stop for us every time we visit Coronado now.

Clayton's has delicious hamburgers, shakes, breakfast omlettes, sandwichs and various desserts. A juke box plays tunes from the 50's, 60's and 70's while you enjoy your meal. All the waitresses are sweet and efficient at this popular coffee shop

Not sure why all the bad reviews. Hashbrowns were awesome. Do good didn't need ketchup or hot sauce. My wife loved her s'mores mocha. Spicy sausage house made. Great breakfast served all day. The place has a juke box table side! Will be back for sure.

We stopped by for breakfast, and before I sat down, a cheerful server had hot coffee and menus in front of us. If you like a classic diner where your coffee cup is never empty or cold, this is it. Breakfast was pretty good, not gourmet, but filling, cheap and buzzzing from cofffeee!

Yup, your typical local talent diner. A very popular place for breakfast on Orange Ave...We eat breakfast there and it is what it is-very good!

We stopped in for breakfast drawn by the crowd inside. Bad choice. Sausage patty, hash browns and corned beef has all way overdone - you should not have to cut hash browns with a knife. Asked for un-buttered toast ...got half buttered. Party next to us also sent back burned food. Not worth it and would not return.

The restaurant is tiny, and you need to be aggressive in getting a seat, you're totally on your own. The service is okay, the couple of servers there are kept busy and don't have much time for customers as individuals. The coffee and food are just average.

In search of breakfast we found this diner and were delighted with what we found inside. The service was great and the food abundant. Arrived about 11am on a Sunday and there was a waiting list-45 minutes. Decided to grab a coffee and some donuts and sit outside. They have a window on the side of the building for to-go orders.
