Fish tacos and carne asada.

If you want something fast this is the place. They have great coffee, especially the raspberry chocolate mocha. Very sweet, but delicious Also the fish tacos are outstanding and the carne Asada is great too. They also serve a pretty good breakfast with eggs, toast, choice of meat and home fries.

Very nostalgic with juke box choices and counter stools. Breakfast food was served hot and quickly. Friendly wait staff. Lines were out the door all Mother's Day weekend, but we managed to get in Monday morning. Nothing yo write home about, but just right for an average breakfast meal. Reasonable prices.

Great breakfast spot, worth the wait. Attentive and friendly wait staff. Be open to sitting at the counter as the wait is long on the weekends. Food is good and the old fashioned soda fountain in the middle of the counter is sweet nostalgia!

I read about this place online, and it was truly a fun place to dine. I was by myself on a business trip, and stopped by on a Thursday morning and saddled up to the counter. Good wait staff - not overly friendly which was good to NOT make you feel like a tourist! Recommend the sourdough pancakes with blueberries.

I thought my order was going to take forever however it came out within minutes. I had the loaded omelet-bacon, cheddar, potatoes and chives served with black beans for 10.95. Nice place and in walking distance to the Hotel Del Coronado.

Hotel recommended this diner to us for breakfast. I loved it. It was like the 1940's or 1950's with juke boxes at each table. The menu was also reminiscent of that era. I had a breakfast burrito that was so good, I could quit eating it. I would love to go back to have seconds.

Googled best breakfast in Coronado and Clayton's Coffee Shop was the first thing to pop up. Just so happened we had to return our bikes next door so decided to give it a go. Place was lined up but it moved quickly. Huevos Rancheros were the best I have ever had and the corned beef hash was great and not... More

I was in the area for a work event and decided to eat breakfast here. The options for breakfast were good and very typical. The coffee is very good as it is free trade and I believe organic too. The omelets are good. I had the veggie and my husband had the denver. The restaurant itself is like walking back... More

If you are not into eating "Ethnic", Clayton's offers a wide range of meals at reasonable prices, very reasonable! From the old fashioned "Jute Box" terminals at the tables - featuring 50's & 60's music to the friendly wait staff - you step back a few years when you enter. The tables were built for the average 1950's customer can... More
