We stopped by Clayton's for an early morning vanilla latte- and received a delicious concoction at the takeout window that was perfectly balanced and robust- with just the right amount of vanilla. We wandered next door to a little take-out window, looking for a take-away breakfast and wound up with two fantastic tacos - one fish and one carne asada-... More

I was there early on a Saturday morning, but didn't have the time to go through a full american breakfast. Oatmeal, toast, coffee, juice - more than enough for me. Good ambience, a great many choices on the menu, good coffee.

Breakfast was delicious and traditional. Service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed thick French toast, fluffy pancakes, and homemade cinnamon rolls.

Never had a bad breakfast here! Great old fashioned diner food! Love sitting at the counter. Corned beef hash is awesome! Always very busy, so be prepared to wait a little. They lose a star for me for not being open very late. I know they'd still be busy at midnight and beyond.

Oh my gosh! You cannot go wrong eating here! Everything we had was amazing. Love the atmosphere, love the people working there, love the food! Prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food. Coffee is awesome. Milkshakes are homemade and amazing. You have to have the biscuits and gravy. Cannot go wrong for any meal.

Maybe it's because we are real diner aficionados or maybe we just hit a bad day at Clayton's but we found the place just ok. It's old timey for sure and busy as the dickens but coffee lukewarm and breakfast just okay-- nothing special. It has the advantage of being open early and having a big menu but next time... More

Decided to venture outside the hotel for breakfast and found this breakfast spot. I was quickly seats around the U shaped breakfast bar. Provided with a thick menu with lots of superb choices. Decided on standard fare - eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon. Served in about 10 minutes and viewed all around me things like Texas Toast with confectionary... More

Clayton's is just another reason to love Coronado. They serve delicious comfort food, and I've never been disappointed. I've had the pancake breakfast, which was huge, as well as the biscuits and gravy breakfast. My wife always gets an omelet. We often have leftovers because the portions are so large. Food has always been very good, service may sometimes be... More

You know it has to be good when there's a line outside! The Coffee Shop was recommended by the hotel staff and it did not disappoint. The waitresses were friendly, efficient and constantly refilling. It's a very old fashioned "diner" atmosphere with counter seating and booths. We went back a second time and it was just as good.
