Great Mexican Dinner

We have eaten here many times and keep coming back for the good food and service. The atmosphere is relaxing and adds to the fun of our vacation.

The "Barb's" salad was wonderful with shrimp and pulled pork, avacado and tasty dressing. Chips were home-made and not too salty. The salsa was great! Server was so nice and very accomodating. Very good flan recipe, too.

We visited the San Diego area during the week of July 4th, so the Coronado Island area was very busy. We walked along Orange Avenue and decided to eat at Miguel's Cocina, as the company that owns The Brigantine Restaurant owns this one, too. We loved the Brigantine! Miguel's has a nice Mexican feel to it, with Mexican music playing... More

The food is solid every time we go here and the location is a short walk from the beach. skip the skinny margaritas though - not very tasty.

Really good mexican restaurant for the location. The enchiladas were great...carne asada not so much. Salsa was great as well...

this is the local place to go for mexican food with your family. they have an outdoor patio and decent mexican food. be prepared for a wait and slower service during the summer tourist season. great fish tacos. margaritas are just ok and somewhat overpriced.

Close to Del Coronado. Large portions though not the best mexican I have tried. Very cheap. Quick and friendly service

You must try this restaurant. We really enjoyed the unexpected white queso serviced with the chips; would be an appetizer at most restaurants. We could see it was a popular spot but our food was serviced in reasonable time...gosh I think... as we were too busy eating the chips, queso & salsa with our "TWO" pitchers of their Millionaire Margarita... There is one thing that sets Miguel's apart from the rest and it's their white sauce and chips. The food is decent, the atmosphere could be better but it's something special to Coronado that is worth trying.

Went twice and loved it. Great service and "reasonably priced" for the island.
