We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night while staying at the Hotel Del Coronado. What great Mexican food! The waiters were very friendly and helpful. Our meals were ready in a very short time even though there were 7 in our party. We each had a different dish and all dishes were very tasty. You will gave a... More

By the time we arrived on a Thurs.night, it was packed. We were seated in their adjoining place right down the street a few steps. Great service, good food (the cheese sauce is a must!)and wonderful time was had by all!

It was hot when we were on Coronado Island and we stopped by Miguel's Cocina. It is a shaded eating area behind the buildings so you don't hear the car traffic. The chips were good as was the jalapeno cheese sauce. It was mild Mexican food, not the best we've ever had, but good. It hit the spot with the... More

Miguel's provides an excellent casual experience. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is fine, but likely not good enough to come back just for that. What makes Miguel's special is absolutely fabulous service and, at least during happy hour, very good prices. The cocina is in a good location near the beach and the Hotel Del. There's plenty of... We made a day trip to Coronado and just happened on this place for a light snack. Charming is the best word for this patio dining. Great nachos. The staff was great and our waiter could not be better. Next time we will come for dinner!

Visited with two families, 4 children and 2 adults. The kids cleaned their plates! The white sauce they give you with their chips is to die for. We each had different entrees and there were no complaints from the table. Service was a bit inconsistent, we waited quite a while between water refills and to pay our bill. The atmosphere... More

Mexican food without spices? A disappointment. The best part of the meal were the tortilla chips and the bottled beer.

We loved Miguel's Ultimate Margarita. It is hard to find a really good Margarita and Miguel's served a delicious one. The tortilla chips were served with a tasty salsa as well as a white sauce with jalapeño that was yummy. The food was very good also, we ordered the vegetable enchiladas and the shrimp enchiladas and they were both delicious.... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this place last weekend. The server (didn't get his name) was fast and friendly. The portions are large and very tasty. Two of us ate and drank a few beers and the bill was approx. $40. We will be coming back here on our next San Diego visit.

Festive setting, Miguels has a good variety of authentic mexican dishes. We had vegetable and chicken enchillada dishes which were perfectly prepared. Throw in a corona or two or three and you're set! Recommend!
