BEST DIP & SALSA

This the only Mexican restaurant that I go to besides Old Town. They treat like a VIP when I go alone. Love all combo plates and their Margaritas. Yum! Just across the street from Hotel Del Coronado. Take 901 Bus from San Diego. Parking scarce.

Had some time to kill while on vacation in Coronado and stopped into Miguel's and sat at the bar with a friend. They had happy hour from 2-6pm. The margarita my friend had tasted fresh. Not like a soda fountain drink. We found out they hand make their own margarita mixes daily. I had a glass of Hess Cabernet and... More

If your looking for a casual atmosphere with great Mexican food this needs to be on the list. The chicken fajita's were excellent. Reasonably priced with good service.

We had spent the afternoon at the Del Coronado and enjoyed the beach there. The eatery options there seemed pricey so we opted for better value and a casual atmosphere with great wait staff. A block away we found Miguel's and thought there tacos, burritos and margaritas were tremendous. Got a pitcher of Miguel's Ultimate margarita, delicious and refreshing. We... More

This is the second time we've eaten here. Went once before 7 years ago. Food is still great. I had fish tacos that were great. Just the right amount of food. My daughter had a burrito that she said was good. The chips and salsa and queso are great. Service was fast and friendly. We sat outside, streetside. That was... More

Great jalapeño cheese dip, great empanadas and very nice fajitas. The margaritas were sizable and spot on. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

If you need a gluten free diet don't eat the chips and/or the white dipping sauce. They only have one griddle to fry on so there's cross contamination and they use flour in the white dipping sauce.

With so many great food options don't waste your money. The service was so slow. Took forever just to get water! Never got a refill even after the server said he would be right back with it. He noticed we were out of chips. The empty salsa was in plane view too. Thought he was bringing both but nope, just... More

Less than 5 minute walk from the Hotel Del. Reasonably priced excellent Mexican food. Generous margaritas. A single drink comes with essentially a mini pitcher--meaning 2+ servings for one drink. Service very fast. Dinner came almost immediately after large basket of chips with white sauce and salsa. Outdoor covered dining area and small indoor dining area. Went by myself (attending... More
