This could be a 5-star place, we just didn't have a big meal here. What we did have was as good as it gets for simple food. The Greek salad was a good blend of greens and cheese. On the charcuterie platter the pate was just to die for. Then the pear cheese cake for desert put us away.

Seriously this place is popular!! We went like 8am in the morning and there were already a line. Don't worry. The line moves fast and it's totally worse of waiting. Try the croissant - simple but breathtaking!! I will definitely go again next time when I am in San Francisco...

We at first thought we would try a place across the street-wrong! We found this gem instead and had the most delightful dinner where we could relax, enjoy, and converse while actually being able to hear one another. Of course our evening was Coronado perfect for outdoor seating, which we chose to do. The bread and the butter was a... More

Two friends and I met here for breakfast on our recent trip to San Diego. The breads were fabulous! The pastry case was worth perusing whether you choose a sweet or not. We were all pleased with our choices. The service was excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. I will go back for dessert!

We usually stop in just for dessert. You cannot go wrong, stop in and try their desserts! From what we've seen the good looks excellent too.

Yesterday when we arrived in Coronado we stopped here for a piece of key lime cheesecake and two lattes. After a long day in Coronado with our car parked near this café we decided to have dinner here also! We had their homemade gnocchi and their house green salad with pears walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese.

We went for dinner one evening around 615 and found a table on the patio. Suggest a reservation if you want to make sure you get one. We had the Flat iron steak and the fresh gnocci with sausage and both were very tasty. Service was prompt and pleasant and dessert was even better. You get to pick from an... More

There were four of us for dinner and we requested a table on the patio. The evening was beautiful and the food was delicious.

Service is OK, but never seen such an arrogant, rude and inflexible chief. For example: we wanted some mayo to take away, chief told us we have to buy a steak to get the mayo! Ridiculous!
