So I have tried Tartine on several occasions, always swearing to never return. The food, I must say is very tempting and tasty, so are the desserts, but what kills me is the horrible service I ALWAYS get there. The waiters are too busy to bother smiling while time just passes without any notion you are waiting for them. When... More

We only had dessert at Tartine's but it was scumptious! I had the chocolate mousse and it was to die for. I can't remember what my husband had but we both enjoyed our desserts, coffee and hot chocolate immensely. It wasn't cheap but the service was excellent, our desserts were presented beautifully and were mouth-watering. Definitely worth stopping by.

We dined outside on the patio with our dog (Tartine is dog-friendly!) for dinner and it was fanntastic. The food was fresch, creative,a nd delicsious. . . . and the bread was wonderful!

Limited breakfast menu but quality ingredients and satisfying dishes. Large variety of scones. Cranberry orange was one of the best scones I've ever eaten.

Good food and nice atmosphere, we were there for breakfast. The service was very good and the locals were very friendly. The patio is also dog friendly.

This could be a 5-star place, we just didn't have a big meal here. What we did have was as good as it gets for simple food. The Greek salad was a good blend of greens and cheese. On the charcuterie platter the pate was just to die for. Then the pear cheese cake for desert put us away.

Seriously this place is popular!! We went like 8am in the morning and there were already a line. Don't worry. The line moves fast and it's totally worse of waiting. Try the croissant - simple but breathtaking!! I will definitely go again next time when I am in San Francisco...

We at first thought we would try a place across the street-wrong! We found this gem instead and had the most delightful dinner where we could relax, enjoy, and converse while actually being able to hear one another. Of course our evening was Coronado perfect for outdoor seating, which we chose to do. The bread and the butter was a... More

Two friends and I met here for breakfast on our recent trip to San Diego. The breads were fabulous! The pastry case was worth perusing whether you choose a sweet or not. We were all pleased with our choices. The service was excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. I will go back for dessert!
