Great Little Restaurant!

While visiting SD with the Family stopped by at this place for lunch, Wow! The food was terrific! And the price fair, we ordered the pâté and cold meats plate and loved it! Soup of the day was also very good and the cappuccino was perfect! The lady that served was very good and everything she... read more

We discovered Tartine in August and had coffee and panini brunch. Not far from the Harbourside, Tartine is tucked away just off Orange. Food was fresh and delicious. Service polite and attentive. Ambience inviting and relaxed. The home-baked cake counter was full of irresistible treats. Will definitely go back on our next trip to San Diego and would like to... More

Riquísima! The food was excellent, good service and great location! Desserts to die for! I didn't see any children just adults and the majority was elderly people so I don't know how family friendly this place is. But if the sell cookies I'm pretty sure they like kids.

Had lunch at Tartine. We opted for the patio as it was quite noisy inside. We found a quiet corner with a light breeze. I had the Gorgonzola tartine with sliced pears....about a 12 inch bun when you added the halves together...yummy, but too much bread for me. Hubby had the croque Monsieur. Both came with a simple green salad... More

What should have been a nice lunch out got off to a bad start. After waiting more that 15 minutes for our lunch, the server came over and said the ticket was lost and asked again what we ordered!! Another good 15 wait and we finally were served. The food, Nicoise tuna in a warm baguette and Greek salad were... More

The bus boy seated me but no server came for awhile until I went to the counter to find someone, after that all was ok as far as service. I ordered a spinach salad with the most creamy, wonderful goat cheese I ever had. It came with lovely bread that was from another local bakery, one of the few things... More

Interesting sandwich options, soups, quiches, salads, all combine for a pleasant lunch. Sit on the patio on warm afternoons or dine inside near the tempting pastry cases, if you can stand waiting for these tasty creations. Make reservations for dinner because it can get crowded.

You have your choice, typically, inside or outside on a nice little street-side patio. The cafe is across the street from the ferry landing for access to downtown San Diego. The menu has a wonderful variety. The food is simple, yet tasty. The serving sizes are ample. The service is prompt, polite and friendly, yet there seems to be no... More

We had just visited the Grand Dame - Hotel Del, and were tooling around Coronado when we happened upon this quaint little restaurant -Tartine. Of course, on such a beautiful day the outside seating was full; complete with the "dog friendly" water bowls. I usually judge a restaurant by how many smiles I see on the patrons' faces. In this... I really enjoyed the food here. I came on a recommendation and was not disappointed. I had lunch (mostly quiche, salads, and sandwiches) although that's not to say there are lacking options. The food was great and seemed reminiscent of French cuisine. There's also a great selection of chef dessert and pastries, as you'd expect from a French place. There's... More
