Good place for breakfast

Oatmeal and homemade epi bread are winners. Huge portions, we always share orders. They also serve Cafe Moto coffee roasted locally in San Diego

We enjoyed the panini and baguette sandwiches, each served with freshly dressed lettuce. The outside area is dog friendly. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Visiting Coronado from the UK to see my friend so stopped by at Tartine for afternoon tea and cake. There were so many cakes to choose from in a vast glass counter and it took me a while to decide as they all looked delicious. In the end I opted for lemon meringue which was one of the best I... Went there for dinner . I had a spinach salad with an extra of turkey. The server told me to substitute fresh strawberries for the fried cranberries. I did. It wd a good salad but the turkey was just little chopped pieces. My husband had beef stroganoff. He said it was just ok and brought part of it home. I... More

Only had breakfast here but enjoyed every bite. Reminded me of the cafes of southern France. Lots of locals were having breakfast while I was there. We were not rushed and enjoyed the socializing around us. Just a few walking blocks from the Marriott although there were folks who walked over from the Pacific side of the Island. Indoor and... We went to dinner twice at Tartine. Looks like a coffee shop but it's so much more. The charcuterie plate was divine. Not just tourists but many locals were there both nights - always a good sign of a quality establishment. Friendly servers, intimate setting.... we'll be back!

This is a regular stop for my wife and I when we cycle on a Sunday. A bacon panino with lots of fresh fruit and double espresso gives us the energy to cycle home again. Our first choice for breakfast in Coronado.

Even on a rainy evening it is worth the short walk. We were greeted quickly and told we could sit anywhere. On a rainy Sunday evening it was half full inside. Our server was friendly and efficient. We had their soup of the day which was a red pepper with sausage and chicken. It had a little spicy and was... More

We spotted the Tartine whilst sight seeing on Coronado. It's a great place to hang out and have a coffee. A good range of snacks and light meals are available and we were amazed at the price.

Diners of all sizes (people and doggies) can enjoy this slow paced, laid back atmosphere. The Curried Chicken Salad was outrageously good. Curry can be tricky, but the chef flavored the chicken just right. Expect the service to be pleasant without any sense of urgency. Sit back, relax and be in Coronado!
