Good place for breakfast

Oatmeal and homemade epi bread are winners. Huge portions, we always share orders. They also serve Cafe Moto coffee roasted locally in San Diego

Charming restaurant with outdoor patio close to the ferry landing and beach. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee even better. Service was great and people were friendly. On my list to go back and try one of their amazing pastries!

Stopped in for late lunch with friend today. Pleasently surprised with simple menu of salads and sandwiches. Oddly, for me, not one item on menu I would not have tried. My friend and I both chose the ham and Brie on a baguette with salad greens. Perfect preparation and presentation, all very fresh on warm crusty baguette. Service friendly and... More

A small place Tartine has a combination of open air & indoor dining, We particularly like the deserts, but they so feature a full menu, so you can dine there anytime. On First St, on the path from the Coronado Ferry, they provide an excellent stop for someone wishing to get a bite, They are pet friendly, providing water for... More

We enjoyed the panini and baguette sandwiches, each served with freshly dressed lettuce. The outside area is dog friendly. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Visiting Coronado from the UK to see my friend so stopped by at Tartine for afternoon tea and cake. There were so many cakes to choose from in a vast glass counter and it took me a while to decide as they all looked delicious. In the end I opted for lemon meringue which was one of the best I... Went there for dinner . I had a spinach salad with an extra of turkey. The server told me to substitute fresh strawberries for the fried cranberries. I did. It wd a good salad but the turkey was just little chopped pieces. My husband had beef stroganoff. He said it was just ok and brought part of it home. I... More

Only had breakfast here but enjoyed every bite. Reminded me of the cafes of southern France. Lots of locals were having breakfast while I was there. We were not rushed and enjoyed the socializing around us. Just a few walking blocks from the Marriott although there were folks who walked over from the Pacific side of the Island. Indoor and... We went to dinner twice at Tartine. Looks like a coffee shop but it's so much more. The charcuterie plate was divine. Not just tourists but many locals were there both nights - always a good sign of a quality establishment. Friendly servers, intimate setting.... we'll be back!
