Lunch and the Volcano

We enjoyed lunch here on a cool sunny day. Our view was remarkable. We even had a sunbathing sea lion give us a show. We started with the volcano drink for 2. A show stopper with dry ice lava. Fun. I have attached a photo. The Bento box was perfect and light....just what I needed after a long... read more

What a fabulous place. We enjoyed the activity of the harbour-helicopters, tug boats, a rescue boat, coast guard ships, the seal snoozing on the deck. The food was awesome-fish tacos, a seafood cobb salad and then their chocolate bomb cake. Totally decadent and topped it off with good coffee. (oh, can't forget the Moscow mule type drink too). Totally worth... More

The view was fantastic. Food was excellent. Server was not as attentive as I would have liked but we enjoyed the view so much we didn't let it bother us too much. I had the scallops and they gave you a generous portion and they were cooked perfectly. Would definitely go back.

Yes, it was Easter, and yes it was busy. But we had reservations. I called a few days prior to make sure the menu that was posted on line for Easter brunch would be the same on the day of our reservation. They assured me it was; when we got there, the menu was different. When the rolls and butter... More

Peohe's restaurant in Coronado is not worth the trip or the money. Nasty food. The wait staff do what they can. Management doesn't understand what good food is.

Had a great lunch here and lived the food, recommend the onion rings and crab cake. The view I spectacular and to get it you seem to have to reserve a table in the deck - just a tip. Many people wanted it but couldn't get as we saw The service was not good but it was clear the servers... More

Lovely restaurant on the bay. Pick the outside dining. Highly recommended the Mahi or truffle kisses. Unique ingredients and nice presentation. Great service.

The view of the San Diego skyline was perfection, but the food and service just wasn't there. They completely forgot my salad all together, the server wasn't that attentive and it says a lot when a HUGE restaurant like that is almost empty!

Although having one of the best deck views of the city for dinner, service seems to be gradually declining over past 3 visits. While our reservation was accommodated early by a friendly host stand staff, server was pleasant and our view was great, several of our meals were not prepared as ordered and had to be sent back. By the... More

I had work dinner there the other night. She paid over 1000 dollars for a deposit and got the banquet meal. The room was not private and we were treated like stepchildren. The staff was completely disorganized. We never got bread, and I had to raise my voice to the staff to get our drinks. The food was that that... More
