Great Views

Great views and an excellent menu make this a nice dining spot, especially for dinner after dark. The views of downtown San Diego are hard to beat.

We did not have reservations though I would highly recommend them. We got lucky. The food was great, the service fast, and the food delicious. We had a table with a bayside view of San Diego. If you want to have a romantic dinner...go there. Prices were reasonable but not cheap. They have a good variety and we did not... More

Went with friends to dinner on a Friday night, short wait without a reservation. Our server was very helpful with recommendations, food was beautifully plated. Great pace, atmosphere, and wonderful view of downtown San Diego. Crab cakes and wasabi calamari were delicious. Great experience, good food.

We ate her twice. I have to say the first time the group was large and they handled us very well. Lots of personality with the wait staff, good entrée, and great desserts. I came back with clients a few days later and the service was a bit off. The food was the same. Maybe an off night. I would... More

Went with a large group of 9. Everyone ordered something different - from mahi mahi, sea bass, shrimp, and steak. Everyone absolutely raved about their entrees. The appetizers were amazing The service was good, but a little slow to get out dinner, but With a big group that can be expected. The key lime pie and cheesecake were nothing to... More

There are plenty of "on the water" and "seafood" restaurants on coastal California, but not many with this particular combination of pleasant atmosphere, GREAT location, close-by parking, nice menu, good service and very good food! The New England clam chowder was one of the best ever. Creamy, nice chunks of clam, a nice amount...subtle...of potato, well spiced. VERY good. The... More

It was payday and I had always wanted to try this place. My server suggested a cool cocktail and brought me appetizers. I decided to try a PASTRAMI & RTE. BIGGEST and BEST, I ever had! Eating outdoors was great!

Amazing restaurant and beautiful view of San Diego. My husband took me there for my Birthday and was VERY pleased. Get the Crag, mango, avocado stack for appetizer! Swordfish was delicious and because it was my birthday they brought me a complimentary ice cream pie with chocolate cookie crust, chocolate syrup and crushed macadamia nuts. Let's just say to die... We chose Peohe's to have a more quiet evening, and it was an excellent choice. The food they offer is innovative and offers a variety of interpretations of classical fish dishes, always with a fine wine choice. They accept reservations until 9.30pm, but you can stay a lot later (we left somewhere around 11 pm). Great view over San Diego,... More

We went to Peohe's for Restaurant Week and found it somewhat pedestrian. The setting is great and the architecture of the restaurant very attractive. We arrived on time for our 7:00 reservation and after about 10 minutes were shown to a booth which would have been fine except for the busing station right behind it. We were told our server...
