We drove down from Newport Beach where we were staying for our vacation. We generally go to Seaport Village for lunch and the view of the harbor. However it gets so busy there and parking can be a challenge. We therefore decided to go to Coronado and Peohe's. We sat outside in the patio with an incredible view and our... More

We dine at this place every time we are in San Diego. This time the service is not as good as before. He did not give us bread until 30 minutes after we finish our appetizer. I asked for the wifi password, he said he would ask the manager but never got back to me. Food was just OK, does... More

First of all, I am a San Diego native. I have been to this restaurant many times. This time, terrible. When I phone for our dinner reservation, they asked me if I was celebrating a special occasion. I replied yes, it was my daughters birthday. Whey would you ask me if I am celebrating a special occasion when no mention... More

Ended up at Peohe's after a evening at Coronado beach. First, I thought it was closing, because there was very few guests still there. But, it was no problem I had a nice table on the veranda facing the bay and the San Diego skyline. Impressive view! Had great service, both from the cute Estonian girl at the front desk... More

Here's the deal, we took the ferry to Coronado. Peohe's is right there. We were seated at a window table, although most tables do have the view because the windows are ceiling to floor and wrap around most of the main dining room. There is also outdoor seating. We ordered a bottle of Far Niente Chardonnay, very reasonably priced. Our... More

Get off the ferry across the Bay from SD and turn left. There is Peohe's. Bright and white with a great view if sitting outside. Fresh seafood combined with ambience and a good wine list. Reasonable value. Service is friendly and prompt enough, not too fast, not too slow. I will go back when in SD.

My daughters (ages 9 and 10), and I were visiting Coronado and in search of a good place for lunch. I came across Peohe's and was skeptical by the looks of it. I thought for sure they'd turn us away without a reservation or because we were in flip flops. Wrong! We walked in and had to wait about 4... More

I had always wanted to eat here since I was young so when I was invited to a retirement luncheon I was very excited. The restaurant itself is very pretty you walk past a beautiful waterfall and the decor ties in very nicely. We ate outside right next to the water and a great view of San Diego bay. I... More

After a "tough day" exploring San Diego we took the ferry back to Coronado and our "home" for 2 weeks. We had been told that Peohe's at the ferry landing had a great happy hour menu and they sure were right. How about California rolls made with lobster ? 3 bite coconut shrimp ? after a couple of drinks and... More

During a recent visit to Coronado we stopped in a place called Peohe's. The reviews my wife read about the place indicated that food was good, service not so much. Our view is that the food is so-so and service was even worse. The bar area vs the number of waiters on duty during happy hour was quite adequate so... More
