Very French

We ate very light. The foie gras (appetizer) was amazing and the bouillabaise (entre) was unlike any other I've ever had. We sat at a small table in the bar area. We were the only clients so obviously the bar tender was always there to accommodate. The recommended wines were tasty and smooth. If... read more

We have eaten at Chez Loma three times over a number of years and, although the ownership has changed, the food and service are first rate. We always go on Wednesday to enjoy the wine specials.

It's a little old house converted into a restaurant. My understanding is it's under new ownership, but I found my light dinner tasty. The female bartender, Cheryl, was very attentive even though I wasn't there to enjoy a cocktail, but rather a light meal, she was great. I had the beet salad - not my favorite - the one down... Wonderful atmosphere in an old historic house. The service was so attentive. Not stuffy or formal., the food was very good. Great portions for the price I thought. I had a steak and it perfect. My friend was impressed with the wine.

First - we had dinner here once before and it was a good experience, but its how a restaurant handles things when it go the other way is often more telling. I am not sure what to make of this but we had reservations, waited 30 minutes for the table, and then got placed upstairs. There was a huge party... More

Good afternoon. I regret your experience that evening was not up to your expectations. I understand that large groups can become loud at times but unfortunatly we were blocked solid that night. Thank you for your other comments as I will have a strong conversation with the bartender about this situation. If you decide to visit us on a different... More

Charming old house, good food, service that tries hard to please, moderately priced, next to central business area. Overall, we were pleased with the experience. However, our waitress was very young and didn't seem well trained as she made a number of basic mistakes I wouldn't expect in a French restaurant on the more pricey side. The food was cooked... The eggs Benedict was simple but on point. The croque Monsieur was decadent and delicious. Chez loma has a romantic French country feel. It is although you're dining in someone's dining room. The service was great but the meals are prepared to order so relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

The service was EXCELLENT, however the cooks were shouting in the kitchen in Spanish, the the sous chef was standing in front of the reception desk talking on his cell phone and he was dressed very sloppy. The acoustical tiles on the ceiling look terrible, the french CD playing throughout the restaurant was out dated and too loud. My duck... More

Charming. Onion soup, Caesar salad, beef Bourgogne excellent. Duck breast was perhaps best ever for me. Nice wine list, very friendly and attentive service.

Nice wine list. Service was super. Quiet and romantic. Located in a restored home. Will definitely go back. A+
