Nice, tucked away just a half block from the main drag - Orange Avenue. Very upscale and worth the cost for fine French food and service.

I have not been to Chez Loma for 15 to 20 years...somehow we, I, always choose a different restaurant in Coronado. But, I am so glad we finally went back! We went for early drinks and food and the service was exceptional as was the food. It has a nice bar area albeit somewhat small but, super comfortable and breezy.... More

Overall, the restaurant is very good. However, there were two things that were very unimpressive. First and foremost, I was very specific with the waiter in ordering my peppered steak rare to medium rare. However, it came out from the kitchen cooked medium. I note that is a complaint of several others who have reviewed this restaurant. The only reason I... More

Good afternoon, I really regret that your experience at Chez Loma was not satisfactory. The dish must be cooked to your liking, if not, we will make a new one for you. On the second coment I will correct that problem so it never happens again as it definitely is not our policy to do that. Hopefully you will allow... More

This place is very charming. The staff was wonderful, and the food was everything we hoped for. We started with a mojito and a Cosmo, both were very tasty. Then we got the mussels. The sauce was great and unique, and we loved dipping the warm bread in the sauce. For entrees I had the duck, which was amazing. If... More

I took my wife and my mother to Chez, Loma for my wife's birthday. This restaurant has always been a family favorite. The food was excellent and service very good. We liked the new decor and the mirrors made the large dinning room appear larger. I had the duck and both my wife and mother had the lamb. Will return... More

Great food, reasonable prices, friendly service...what more do you need??? Try the filet mignon, black pepper crusted, fork tender, and only $33! Setting is a former Victorian style home, converted to a cozt cafe.

We had the halibut and the bouillabaisse and they were both excellent! But the bouillabaisse sauce was incredible! Not to mention it's very charming and cozy

While visiting friends in Coronado, six of us dined at Chez Loma, a very appealing restaurant in a wonderful old house a couple of blocks from the historic Hotel del Coronado. Our server was very knowledgable, helpful and pleasant, giving what we felt were accurate evaluations about our wine selections. Three of us had a crab-crusted halibut fillet that was... More

The restaurant is somewhat small so reservations may be needed at certain times of year. The menu was interesting, utilizing local fresh ingredients, and the food was excellent. It is always nice to have fresh produce in winter. We both enjoyed our meal and appreciated the professionalism of the waitress. This is a perfect choice if you want a finer... More

Four of us had an outstanding meal in this charming Coronado restaurant. My fresh local halibut with crab was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, as were the vegetables. My husband loves to order duck and was not disappointed; he thought it was one of the best duck meals he has ever had. Our friends were happy with their choices too. The... More
