This is a nice French style restaurant located just off Orange, near the theater. The building seems to be converted house which provides an added dimension to the dining experience. We ate upstairs in a quiet room, there was more energy and sound below so depending on the atmosphere you like, one level may be more to your liking than... More

Visited Chez Loma with 4 friends and initially had reservations to sit inside however the bartender was able to accommodate us in the outside area ( less formal = more fun). Had the mussels and Caesar to start and both were great. But the show stopper was the beef bourguignon. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce was so... More

I ordered the French dip with gruyere and horseradish and my wife ordered the equivalent of huevos rancheros. Both were delicious and the ambiance and service impeccable. Highly recommend.

This French Restaurant not far from the Hotel del Coronado. We discovered it our second night on Coronado. Ate there 2 nights in a row. It was our 32nd anniversary. Their escargot, mushroom and sweet breads appetizer is to die for!!!! Wish they had a meal of just sweet breads, so hard to find. My husband's filet was one of... More

The food is very good, service by a young waiter (I think he may be named Jason or some similar J name) was excellent and he was informed about the food, French style. He made the best Bloody Mary I have ever had--better than his bartender did later in the trip when we returned with friends. AND it wasn't expensive.

Excellent food, service and such a quaint little house. We love this place, we sat in the Bar and Cheryl the bar tender was wonderful. The food is very fresh and tasty. Descent prices and if you go early at 5pm they have a happy house with pre fixed menu that is an excellent deal. We will be back for... More

Chez Loma is close to the Hotel Del on Coronado Island. It has been there a long time, and it had been providing very good food, atmosphere and service for a long time. The restaurant is an old house which means dining spaces are small - this keeps the noise way down. It felt a bit like eating in someone's... More

But the dinner was certainly worth waiting for. This is very pleasant café with space between the tables made for a comfortable quiet experience. Since it limited in space (a plus once seated) we did have to wait 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. The group of four before us just wasn't leaving after they had paid. However... More

Service was fantastic. Waiter provide wine samples before we made our selection. Food was perfect. The setting was great. I would suggest one of the tables up front by the windows.
