spectacular historic location

If the walls could speak it would be a true history lesson. State dinners, foreign dignitaries, Marilyn Monroe and more! The Hotel Del is a great location and the Crown Room is a must see if you're in Coronado. Just beautiful.

Sitting on the upper deck of the Hotel Del is hard to beat. Enjoying beautiful blue ocean and sandy beach views is a snowbird's antidote to a northern winter. Food is average and not the reason to spend time in this beautiful location but definitely worth enjoying for an hour or more.

This famous ballroom with its iconic chandeliers is the setting for a most amazing, sumptuous brunch you can imagine! ideal to celebrate Mother's Day, birthdays etc but reservations a must. The chocolate fountain cascade is quite a centerpiece, an obvious magnet for the kids!

Beautiful restaurant - one of the best in the San Diego, CA area. On the Ocean. Great place for fine dining.

The restaurant has a beautiful view and is very big and can seat a lot of people. They have wonderful brunches especially on the holidays! You don't have to stay in the hotel to enjoy a lot of their amenities.

The restaurant, although less than half full, told us there was a 45-minute wait! We moved to the outdoor snack bar, which was almost full, so we were unable to get a table with a view. The food was quite good, but the wait staff was insufficient for the crowd. However, our waiter was delightful and friendly, in spite of... More

This is THE place for Sunday brunch! A wonderful buffet! Or better several buffets with a variety of different foods. Hot, cold, salads, typical breakfast food, seafood, dessert. Best of both worlds: Traditional cooking and creative stuff. Impeccable service!!

Went for Sunday brunch and was pleased with the service and selection of dishes available. A bit pricey, but a great way to spend time with family over a good meal.

Expensive little lunch! Park down the street not at the hotel! Cost us $38 to park for 3 hours. Beautiful historic hotel. We ate lunch at the crown room & sat outside. Very expensive. My husband had the fish taco & loved it. Smoked turkey not so much.

A beautiful hotel on a stunning beach made famous by the film some like it hot. A large deck reaching out towards the sea allows wonderful views of the hotel and the beach, with good basic American fare. Hamburgers, chilli fries, Caesar salads. The sides are a meal in themselves. The waiters work hard and the service can be slow... More
