Unique

We ordered some cocktails in one of the terraces and the experience was incredible. The place is one of a kind, and the views are spectacular. I really loved this place.

We really wanted to check out the historic treasure that is the Coronado Hotel. We're glad we heeded the advise of the gal at the museum...parking is outrageously expensive ($30 for two hours. Geez!) But the walk through the stately lobby and the view of the beach from the bar worth the walk. What a beautiful place this is. The... More

First let me start by saying the Bloody Mary's were tasty. Champagne was average. Some of the dishes were great and others were so-so. When you see the pictures on-line of the piled high crab legs you don't see that the legs are very thin, sliced in half and to me looked freezer burned in person. The shrimps on the... More

My wife & I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in San Diego. While there, we decided to splurge at the sumptuous Sunday Brunch at the Hotel del Coronado. We were treated royally, including a special dessert plate celebrating our anniversary. The food was extraordinary, as was the service, especially from our waiter, Charlie. Understandably, the high price tag will... More

Our daughter's wedding on the Del's beach was perfectly Magical! It was followed by the reception in the ballroom. Every detail was perfectly beautiful.

Had breakfast overlooking the beach...but not much of a view...buffet was just okay...$35 PP...$4.50 cup of coffee...this restaurant was highly recommended, but I would not repeat.

Our 4 night stay in San Diego at the Hotel Del Coronado was topped off brilliantly at the mind blowing Sunday buffet breakfast. Seafood and champagne with a personalised waiter, in a magnificent ballroom location with giant chandeliers in the shape of a crown, eluding to past royal visitors. The hotel complex is the epitome of ambience and casual splendour... More
