Service is spotty. Food might be good if it got to the table in a timely manner and was prepared properly. Turkey burger was not cooked thoroughly, and when we sent it back, we waited over 20 minutes and no turkey burger. We left and went to the Burger Lounge down the street.

We had a great Bacoavocado Burger. It was delicious. And the Garlic Tater Tots are awesome! Fun place, great music. Dog friendly.

We live in Coronado and heard that Nicky Rottens had good burgers so we stopped in for lunch and had draft beers and a Bacavo Burger which we split with fries. The burgers are large so recommend sharing - the burger was cut in half and presented on a small plate to both of us which was nice. My husband... More

Great place, food was fantastic but definitely split your meal. The portions are huge and your eyes may be bigger than your stomach.

Our recent visit to Nicky Rottens was a very pleasant surprise. When Nicky Rottens first opened, the loud music and the look of the waitstaff was not appealing to us long time residents of Coronado (and may I speak for many of my Nado friends.) After that experience, we did not return for what seemed to be "years." But when... More

Ate here twice during a week-long work trip. Sat outside the first evening and had an attentive server. Ordered the bar-b-q burger; this thing was so tall it needed a blinking red light on top - see photo :) It was delicious! The next visit I ordered the Hot Pastrami sandwich & salad. Both were very good. They also have... More

I've headed here for my last two vacations to SD. The restaurant has an open air atmosphere, good music, and several big screens. I had a beer, nicky's famous burger, and sweet potato fries (w/ a dipping sauce that all restaurants should adopt--maple syrup). Reasonable prices, great food, and an open atmosphere will keep me going back.

Came in at 9:00 pm. And said the kitchen was close. But about 10:00 pm the manager set down with a plate of food. They are so slow to take your order. I would not recomend them at all.

We sat outside so we had a nice view of the bay. Server was nice but slow to check on us and we had to wait on the bill which I hate. Bloody Mary was awesome with the little "bacon bowl" of olives. I had a bbq chicken salad that was fine. Hubby had a burger which he liked. Daughters... More

After a long day we stopped in for a quick dinner and were very disappointed. The ultimate Quesadilla came with basically no cheese and 5-6 jalapeno slices in each piece it was way too spicy. My wife ordered a salad and it was never delivered although we asked for it twice, seems that it was too much for the kitchen... More
