Yummy!

Fresh sushi near the bay side of Coronado. The cucumber infused water was fantastic, too. They have heaters for the outside dining. It gets cool in the evenings so the heater was very appreciated.

Two locals looking for our next go-to sushi spot. We were willing to sit at the tiny table outside (storm rolling in). We also offered to sit at the one barstool and the other stand behind. The hostess was sweet while the manager was snapping and just very rude. The manager made it clear she did not want our business.

I don't know sushi, so my friend ordered, but I enjoyed all of it including eel and salmon wrapped in rice and seaweed. Fresh ginger, soy sauce along with spicy green paste all went down great. The garlic soy beans were tasty too along with a fancy pomegranate drink.

The place is hoping on Saturday nights, but we were able to get seats at the "high bar" within fifteen minutes of putting our names on the list. The crowd comes in waves, so try to catch a spot in between them when more seating is available. Sushi is creative, and well prepared by a laid back staff of rollers.... More

We made a reservation on OpenTable. We arrived 15 minutes early for a reservation. There were empty tables inside and outside. Nevertheless, the hostess told us we would have to wait. We asked if we could be seated at a table outside at our reservation time and she told us that all of the tables outside were previously reserved and... More

You can't beat great sushi then a walk around Coronado! Get the Saiko roll! Baked with goodness inside and out and super delicious! Their salmon sashimi is to die for all alone as well Better yet, go in Monday's and get all that goodness for half off! Their staff from the hostess and waiters and waitresses to the owner are... I love Saiko Sushi, especially for their happy hour! Great rolls and excellent flavors! I make the trip out to Coronado just to eat here! Slow service but I'll forgive them that.

Seiko Sushi is probably a nice place to drop into if you're passing by after a day of running around and you're looking for a quick, lite bite. It's far from a destination restaurant. Like many places of non-distinction these days it is staffed by a far too young, libido-driven, less than professional group who seem more interested in being... More

Returned to the Island after a long day touring San Diego. After yelping sushi bars on Coronado we were looking forward to really good sushi at Saiko. Can't go wrong with so many rave reviews we said. We started off with the baby bok choy appetizer. Good...but nothing to write home about. It just didn't have that wow-ness factor that... More
