We chose to sit outdoors at this lovely eatery in June 2013 right after we had gotten engaged on the beach at sunset. It was lovely and the food was delicious. We return to relive the special moments each year.

We tried this restaurant once during each of the past two summers when vacationing in Coronado. The best thing about the place is the outdoor terrace, which is a nice venue to have dinner when the weather cooperates, which is almost always the case in the summer here. The food is decent, but nothing that will have you counting the... More

I've been to most of the restaurants on Coronado but never tried this before. It was a very busy Saturday evening but we were able to get in. The dinning area is very comfortable, they have a terrace which is really nice but with the cool California evenings was better to be inside. They had some nice entertainment the evening... More

We enjoy eating here at least once during our annual trips to Coronado. I love the Chicken Valdastano and my wife's seafood soup (whatever they call it) was also great. My daughter loves the cheese ravioli. Make a reservation and ask to sit on the patio which has a great view of the ocean and the Hotel del Coronado.

We stopped by for lunch on our last day on the island. The food was good as was the service. We sat on the deck and it was a nice view and an overall pleasant experience.

Unfortunately we could only manage to go here for lunch but wished we could have returned for dinner. The setting is authentic and charming. The welcome is friendly and the staff are very professional. We had food of a very high standard but not that dinner!

Lobster Ravioli Due was yummy. Good vodka sauce. Simple spaghetti with meat sauce was outstanding. My canelloni had a very tasty meat mushroom filling with a simple delicious cream sauce.

We had an enjoyable meal on the patio, nothing special. Sam was a good waiter, not much of a view. Would not go back.

This place is heavenly. From the charming street front hostess to our waiter and table-hopping chef, everything was wonderful, especially the food. Unctious sauces, perfectly grilled veal, soup, salad, warm bread and al dente pastas cooked to order made me think I was in Italy. The atmosphere is "kitschy", but just right for this food and service. I will definitely... More

We read the reviews and decided to try for dinner tonight. Service was great but food was bland and a poor attempt at Italian cuisine. Bruschetta appetizer presented with unripened tomatoes very little seasoning, chicken parmagian absolutely needed a steak knife to saw through, marinara sauce flavor worse than chef boy ardee. Cream sauce for another chicken dish was diluted... More
