I don't know if I actually ate at Miguelitos or Miguel's Cocina because there was signage for both. I think perhaps they are combining the two. Best Margarita I've had (skinny boss). I'd recommend the beef chimichanga. Chips & dip were awesome. Premium drinks a little pricey (12 for a single marg), but overall a good value.

Had heard great things about this restaurant, it was OK. The special appetizer of ceviche was quite good, but the entree of chicken enchiladas was only fair. The service was fine and atmosphere OK- I think there are other restaurants that are better in the area. This one did not stand out.

Coronado offers insanely picturesque views, and Miguelitos complements them with insanely good food. Plentiful chips and generous portions make this a great place to take in a relaxed meal with friends or family.

We knew the place had a great reputation for mexican food and decided to go there for breakfast at a little after 9am. While looking at the menu, we ordered mimosas and they brought us chips and salsa to munch on and the salsa was pretty mild but had just a slight amount of heat and was good. The menu... More

I had some free time on a recent business trip to San Diego and decided to go down to Coronado as I've heard great things about it. I stopped in the visitor center and asked the woman working (I can't remember her name- but she was SO friendly), on a restaurant recommendation for a late lunch and she said to... More

I had a chicken enchilada (the suza I think) that was excellent. Seriously the best one I've ever had… And that is saying something since I eat great Mexican food in Texas all the time. The white sauce that comes with your chips is most delicious as well!!

Always great atmosphere, service, and food! We like the warm, cozy atmosphere that Miguelitos offers. Our older kids like to wander around the shops nearby while my husband and I enjoy some wine and wait for our food. Great location for us.

We had a 45 minute wait on a busy Saturday night but it was worth it. Staff was very friendly at every level and service was very good. The cheese dip was great as most have noted and unfortunately it led to a second basket of chips! I tried a house specialty-jumbo shrimp stuffed with cheese and peppers, wrapped in... More

The food at the place was extremely tasty and the portions were reasonably sized. The ambience was relaxed and laid back. The waiter was helpful and attentive. He refilled the salsa and water in a timely manner. As the previous posters have mentioned the cheezy salsa was delicious.
