This was a very classy place! I sat at the bar both times because I was there for just drinks and appetizers. The artichoke is to die for! It is 3 artichoke hearts with parmigiano, garlic and mozzarella. Awesome! The piano music is nice, but not intrusive. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

One of those average Italian dining experiences, albeit with a more upmarket ambiance, where nothing goes wrong, the service is professional and efficient, and the food is enjoyable without being especially memorable. The menu has a suitably wide-range of options that should satisfy any taste. A definite plus is that all the pastas are home-made.

It's all about first impressions. A good restaurateur reads his customers. Had they looked at us they would have seen a well dressed, older couple. So why, oh why, on a quiet night would they try to seat us alongside a table of ten or twelve loud, boisterous males? Insisting on a move was uncomfortable for us and clearly the... More

We went there for NY Eve. It is lovely and warm. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was very fresh and clearly handmade pastas. Would go back to Coronado just to eat there again!

I was referred to this restaurant by someone I respect but was shocked at the way we were treated. Our server/bartender was more interested in watching the soccer match on the television than he was in providing service to me and my date. The only thing harder to find than shrimp on my shrimp and calamari appetizer was someone to... More

The staff here is very friendly and always willing to help you with an allergy needs or anything you might need. The atmosphere is very cozy. I would recommend parking a block behind the restaurant on the right where it is free versus underneath the building which is expensive and they no longer validate. The food here is very good.... Remember this from our last visit, and this year did not disappoint. Fine wines, true Italian cuisine, fine dining atmosphere. I enjoyed a specialty dish of seared sea scallops on risotto cakes in cream sauce with tomatoes, peppers, fresh corn and a subtle but fantastic hit of heat. A simple Pino Noir (Monterrey) made a surprisingly nice compliment. Hubby cleaned... More

Parking is a pain and the building is not ADA compliant. Street parking is hard to find and parking underneath will cost you an arm and a leg (and I only have one left). l Unfortunately, the CA handicap card doesn't get you free parking in the garage. Lots of stairs to climb unless you pay for the valet or... More

We stumbled upon this place while on a walk and decided to give it a try. Even though were dressed very casually we were treated like royalty our entire visit. This place is a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous bar and outdoor area, and unique dining rooms that face either the ocean or Orange Street. All very modern, classic, and... More
