Our last evening on Coronado, the hubby and I wanted steak. Steak is what we got! Along with a great arugula salad with palm hearts, goat cheese & creamy lemon vinaigrette. The "seasonal vegetables" - I must say was a hit with us. Loved how they wrapped it in grilled thinly sliced eggplant (or was that squash) - it was... More

We made a reservation, arrived on time and were promptly seated - I have making a reservation and having to wait for our table to be set up. Our server was knowledgable and friendly with suggestions for food and wine. We started with some wine; they have a nice by the glass selection. We began with Bruschetta con Prosciutto appetizers... We went here on a pre theater dinner, we didn't have a reservation but got a table in the bar area, opposite the pianist. The bar got busy very quickly. Bread was brought to our table with oil and balsamic vinegar. My vodka penne pasta dish was delicious, but I couldn't manage it all. We past on dessert due to... More

Four of us stopped in for a drink on Saturday night and had a really fun time. The drinks were perfect and the tuna appetizer was supreme. The atmosphere was festive and we'll be returning!

Last time we were in Coronado for a week, we ended up having dinner at Vigliucci's twice - because it really is good. It isn't the cheapest in town, nor the most expensive, but the food is excellent, the staff is attentive.......and the Vin Santo and biscotti for dessert is great. Do yourself a favor if you're in Coronado -... More

I was looking for Italian food in Coronado. It was between vigilucci's and sapori. I noticed on another website that sapori did not have a full bar and it didn't appear it had a bar to sit at. Being solo I was looking for a bar to sit at and vigilucci met the need. I wound up parking near the... More

Close to Hotel Coronado with better food, service and value than Sheerwater, well worth the 5 minute walk!

Long, tired day and looking for a great dining experience in Coronado. We happened upon Vigilucci's Ristorante and looked at the menu located outside. We took a chance and were so very glad we did so. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing and we had an awesome server who knew the food for the night (what was the freshest and best)... More

My wife and I decided for a light meal/happy hour and stopped into Vigilucci's. They offer free bruschetta at happy hour and there are some cheap options. We got the meatball and the pasta and it was enough for the two of us. Their drink specials were good as well. Overall, we enjoyed it!

I was recently on a business trip and had an open evening. Most people were going to the Gas lamp district and we decided we rather hang out in Coronado. Picked Vigilucci's to stop in for Happy Hours. We sat at the bar and it was not very crowded. Bartender was very friendly and attentive as was the manager who... More
