Visited here on Sunday afternoon. It was busy and parking was a bit of a challenge. However, the experience proved wonderful. The staff were excellent (even with it being busy), the food was delicious (enchilada suizas, fish tacos and carnitas nachos) and the views from the deck of the San Diego skyline (and the beach) were beautiful. I'd definitely return.

Incredible views of the San Diego Skyline with innovative cocktails and fabulous appetizers , Happy Hour 11 to 11 how cool is that. They've changed the menu to include delicious and creative traditional Mexican dishes with a large selection of seafood , chicken, and carne selections. You can't miss with Candelas on the Bay. Highly recommended!

Just had some light snacks here - quesadillas, chips and guacamole, and steak tacos. Everything was excellent.

We were enchanted by the photos and menu on the website and having a harbor-side table at the window. The food and service were disappointing on a very busy Thursday night. The manager Stefano provided excellent assistance and service when the waitress seemed unable to give adequate attention to our table at the far end of the restaurant. The food... More

The first ever restaurant that served the entree at the same time with the main course. The nacho was not good , the lamb was not that impressive, the service s average and I was not happy to dine there, do not do the same mistake

I came here to dine, and I was very satisfied because of the dinner itself, their perfect service and spectacular view of the San Diego skyline from their windows. I suggest to come here at the sunset, so while you're filling your stomach with a really good californian meal you can also reward your eyes with the color changing of... More

The view the restaurant has is amazing! Love San Diego's downtown highlights and bay... Which is why we dined at Candelas. The service was superb by our Brazilian Waitress. She would speak to us in Spanish and was sooo nice and attentive. The food was Ok, although not mouthwatering best for my groups taste buds. We were expecting a bit... More

Had breakfast on their outside dining deck. Fantastic view of the bay and the city, obstructed only by a few palm trees. The deck is protected by clear glass panels which control the breeze while allowing excellent visibility. Weather was perfect, so it made a great impression. The food and choices were good and affordably priced. Our waiter, Fernando, was... More
