Upon entering the restaurant we were informed that it is preferable to have reservations. That's fine but the room was empty. Then the fun began with a wait of over 1 1/2 hour for our food. We were told multiple times during that wait that our food was just being plated and still we waited. It was not until we... More

I found this spot after walking around the hotel. I wanted a nice quiet yet good energy place where I could have a drink and something small to eat while my daughter was at a party downstairs at the Loews. I walked in and was met by Dick Rosenberg. Service was wonderful, food was wonderful I had the lobster bisque... More

The dining room is lovely, the welcome is warm, and the food is excellent. The seafood risotto was especially good and the shellfish was very fresh. A new chef is revamping the menu. The website menu was out of date and prices were considerably higher than we expected. My only real complaint, apart from sticker shock, was that entree portions... More

Me and my friend went for Christmas dinner, got 8:30pm reservation, which was a bit late for us, but was the only availability. 4 course dinner, set price $65 was worth it all the way. Food was delicious and staff very accommodating. Place wasn't pack, seemed easy going. 18% gratuity was included for 2 of us, which is probably common... More

I love the different selections they were offering. The Seafood Risotto was pretty good. I like how all the different shellfish mixed so well with the chorizo, interesting it was the avocado that brought it all together. The view is what this restaurant is really all about anyways. I had Maple Old Fashion drink, and it tasted like Woodford mixed... More

There were very few vegetarian choices and even more difficult to confirm and find gluten free options. Very surprising for such and upscale resort.

We had a lovely dinner in Mistral. The staff were very accomodating to our 3 children and the service was kind and friendly. Food was served hot and all the ingredients were very fresh. Try ordering the Frank Family Zinfandel wine if you like Zins, it is great.

My wife and I ate here on our vacation. We don't do a lot of fine dining but when we do, I hold the restaurant to a high bar. Mistral at Loews Coronado Bay Resort delivered. The ambience is what I expect in a fine restaurant. Sharp, inviting with a flare of excellence. We were seated at a table for... More
