Located on Orange Avenue, Village Pizzeria is a local favorite. For good reason! Indoor or outdoor seating, fabulous house-made dough and sauces, large portions and fast, friendly service. It all adds up to a tasty stop for lunch or dinner. If you enjoy a good pesto, order a side and dip the freshly baked garlic knots for a delicious treat.

We visited this pizzeria one night while in San Diego, we had 4 children and 3 adults in our party. The place was packed so we ordered "to go". We waited outside with the growing crowd and was not bothered by the large crowd. We ordered a few drinks while we waited and was treated very nicely. When we got... More

We ate at Village Pizzeria after taking the ferry from San Diego to Coronado. The pizza was great, and we loved all the topping options. We had a great seat inside the covered patio where we could look right out into the harbor and see all the boats- including some Navy vessels! - pass by. The service was fast and... More

Amazing flavor at this little joint. We were pleasantly surprised by the great flavored and all the options! The build your own pie is reasonably priced and has more topping choices than most. Try the Island pie it won't disappoint!

Nice pizzas and good choice on the menu. Kids' meals were more than ample. If you want to have an alcoholic drink with your meal you need to sit inside, as the liquor licence doesn't cover the outside seating area.

Highly recommended the three item large pizza. Best sauce and topping. Worth every bit and not over priced. Can't wait to return and have another.

Family of 6, short walk from The Del - our wait on a Sunday afternoon for lunch was over an hour. First person you see really sets the tone and sets the mood for the visit - in this case the female hostess was somewhat rude when we walked up, sat there in front of her for a good 2... More

The Village Pizzeria offers some of the freshest food that you can find. The salad tasted like it was just pulled from the garden, and the pasta was superb. Add in very good service and interesting people watching and you will be happy here. TIP: This is just a few blocks down from the Hotel Del Coronado.

The pizza was great. We ordered two 12” pizzas which had a good amount of toppings and easily fed four people. The salad was large as well. Very happy with the prices, quality and service. Although the restaurant was busy they did not rush us which was nice. Recommend an early dinner or else there can be a wait for... More
