The Village Pizzeria was right across the street from where I was staying. I ran over there late one night to grab something quick to eat. It is down some steps so don't miss it. A small place but I was not disappointed in the least. Fresh, hot and NOT your standard chain pizza taste.

Not as good as the legendary Bronx pizza of San Diego this little shop serves a nice pie. Tasty with just the right crunch in the crust. A good selection of beers are available as well. I think this is the best pizza on the island. It is near the del and so easy to walk to even in the... More

If you like real pizza, this is a good place to go. Medium crust was wonderful. Our wait staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu and the beer and wine lists. I'd eat here regularly if they were in my home town. Not to pricey, yet comfortable and friendly.

The Village Pizzeria also has a location on the bay if you are interested in seeing the San Diego skyline at night. We had a thin crust pizza...tasty, but not my favorite compared to pizza from Philadelphia/New Jersey!

Great pizza! it came highly recommended as a must eat on Coronado! Thoroughly enjoyed food & ambiance. Fair pricing! Great customer service. I didnt like restroom outside restaurant and in back with only one bathroom for men and women to use but didnt deter me from going. Highly recommended to check out! I love pizza!

Went here for lunch. They don't serve alcohol on the patio which is a drawback. Pizza was decent but expensive for the size. Still searching for a great pizza place in San Diego but this was ok.

I would strongly advise to not eat it here. It costs $40 to deliver a large vegetarian pizza to a hotel room in the same neighborhood. My friend and I were not impressed - at all. We actually are throwing out 1/2 the pizza ($20 worth of pizza). An airport would charge less for a better quality pizza. In fact,... More

Enjoyed an 18" everything pizza Decent amount of toppings and good chewy crust. A bit pricey at about $33. Probably because of the proximity to Hotel del Coronado. Lots of sausage but not much pepperoni

They have a wide variety of pizzas and other items. We loved the billy goat pizza which had an amazing balsamic glaze on it - delish! We liked it so much, we went there twice during our week in Coronado :).

Every time we go to Coronado Island my step daughter always wants to go to Village Pizzeria, the pies are great and they have a rotating beer selection that is second to none on the island. Grab a pitcher and enjoy the night. The only drawback is that you can not drink outside on the patio, something about the neighbors.... More
