We were in the mood for pizza and checked out TripAdvisor for some good suggestions. We decided on Village Pizzeria. When we arrived it appears to be that "local neighborhood pizza place” where people go to enjoy pizza. The atmosphere was great and the the staff was equally the same. Do not expect much from the pie, though. It is... More

We have been eating at Village Pizzeria in Coronado California for many years now. The appeal to us is their happy hour special. For $2.50 a slice of pizza and $3.00 draft beers we can have at least one affordable meal during our stay in on the island. It's located on the Hotel Del Coronado end of Orange Avenue and... More

Good quality, but a bit pricy. They should have more specials to compete with other in town. This is connected with Moo Time, Leroys, Island Pasta, and probably others. The prices at all seem to rise.

Best salad ever! The warm bacon spinach salad (say yes when they ask about blue cheese crumbles).my mom ordered the pear gorganzola salad, she was equally pleased. The waitress, remembered us from the time we went earlier in the week, good memory, she made us feel welcomed back.

Went to the Village Pizzeria after a long day of taking photo's in the area. A friend recommended this place and said they had the best pizza in town. We ordered our pizza and our friend was correct. The service was good considering it was busy and the pizza came in do time. Great beer to choose from along with... More

This was our first visit to Coronado Island and we were looking for something family friendly to eat near the beach. This place is awesome. The pizza is so delicious. If you are a fan of NY style pizza, you will lovr it. Village Pizzeria is a new favorite for me when it comes to pizza.

I think the title says it all here. The pizza was really good. They had a nice selection of local craft beers. However, my 10" personal pizza was $24.50! The additional items were not priced on the menu, so that was a surprise when I got my bill. Also, I had to hunt my waitress down. I guess being a... More

Village Pizzaria has two locations, one in downtown Coronado and one at the Ferry Landing on the bay overlooking San Diego. The location downtown has a small town pizzeria feeling. They have very good pizza, a selection of pasta dishes and a really good selection of salads and appetizers. This is a place you can bring the family, they have... More

Often the sign of a good restaurant is how popular it is. How many cars are parked outside and how long is the wait. Village Pizza will NOT disappoint.

We make frequent visits to Coronado Island and always have the delicious white pizza at the Village Pizzeria. The crust is is perfect and lots of choices of extra toppings if you like. Salads are quite tasty as well. Happy hour is a good bargain for snacks and drinks. A very good little place.
