The Quiet Woman has been here for decades and has hardly changed at all. The food, while somewhat on the expensive side, is a lot better than what you would normally find in a neighborhood bar in a typical California beach community. But then Corona del Mar is in many ways not your typical beach community either. The QW can... More

This is a quiet neighborhoop bar with a lot of tradition and great food served by friendly people. The other customers tend to be very friendly.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It started off very noisy as there was a family with 6 kids and 2 women sitting pretty close. The staff was so kind and noticed and asked if we wanted to sit in the bar where there was a quiet booth. Thanks for that. Next we had a great server Jessica... More

The QW as the locals call it has been here for better than 3 decades. Recently they gave it a tiny face lift but you will still find the old massive bar and cult wines listed on the chalkboard. It's dark and sultry inside. They have a "lazy Susan" style salad on the menu that would be terrific if they... More

Cozy, busy, high energy. Sit at the bar solo or huddle in a booth with friends. Food is always good and so is the service.

I go hear to hear the band, and being a vegetarian, I order the salmon salad. My son gets the salmon entree and lives it. Soooo good, both the weekend band and the salad. The servers are nice, too, especially Lauren and Stephanie. Deluxe desserts, too. Drinks are strong (and good) so go easy on them, and afterward, lots of... More

I dined here with a colleague this past Thursday evening. We both ordered the swordfsh which was prepared without any spice and served with 2 steamed baby carrots and a small portion of salty mashed potatoes. The menu says it is "simply grilled on the mesquite" and they mean "simply". I asked for a side of salsa to spice up... More

This is a great bar with an expensive restaurant with limited menu choices.. The food is well cooked, staff are good and professional , and it's a nice atmospheric restaurant , it's just a little too much money for what they currently offer .. If it was 30% cheaper it would be brilliant value and the best place in the... More

I have been going to the restaurant for years and its always stayed exactly the same. The food is great, the swordfish is a good choice, and the atmosphere is like an upscale pub. The bar is fairly big and typically well occupied.
