Chicken supreme

A good restaurant for family groups. The rotisserie chicken always a safe and reliable choice the spicy coleslaw was gorgeous. A good wine list and not outrageous like LA. Good pleasant service with a fabulous corn bread starter Always worth a visit

You can order a whole chicken to go. That's always easy. The artichoke is super yum. And you can NOT go wrong with the chicken sandwich. Make reservations if you want to dine in. It gets packed. And arrive good and early for any hope of sitting at the bar. Always a good choice to eat at bandera!

Can't go to Bandera without having the rotisserie chicken and ribs, and that was just what we had, besides the artichoke and delicious skillet cornbread for starters. Their menu is limited but everything that is on it is great. Never have had a bad meal at Bandera and the service is always great. The night we went our server was... More

Had the artichokes and the house smoked salmon. Both very tasty. We also shared an order of chicken and ribs. And enjoyed a pan of sweet cornbread. The food is good but heavy. Wait staff very proficient.

Great menu. This place is awlays busy, so go early or eat a little something before you go and prepare to wait 30-60 minute for a table during dinner any day of the week.

I have been dining at Bandera and also taking advantage of their convenient take home service for years now and find them consistently delicious. Their portions are generous - so much so that often times my husband and I will split their chicken and rib combo dinner and just order an extra side of their incredible peanut cole slaw. The... My wife and I sit at the bar weekly and the service from the bartenders is top notch. We have our favorite meals which we consistently order (wife: macho salad me: smoked salmon) and it never fails. The best kept secret is the smoked salmon!

This is my favorite restaurant in Corona del Mar. It is a busy and fairly noisy place but booths are cozy and they feel intimate. Great Ribs and Chicken and Fish, but my favorite is the Macho Salad with Green Salad, Avacado, Roasted Chicken, Dates, Feta? and Cornbread croutons and maybe more that I don't remember. Great gathering spot for... More

Was my third visit to Bandera. I keep thinking that maybe I'm just ordering the wrong thing, but that is not the case. The food is nothing great. And the service was horrible. I do not feel like they need your business at all. The waitress had a horrible attitude. She was mad because one person in my party was... More

After a couple years, I had the opportunity to visit Bandera again on May 9, 2015. My memories of the venue and food were favorable and had me filled with anticipation to return for a family meal celebrating Mother's Day. I've been a fan of their sister properties at Houston's and R+D Kitchen, so knew that this was going to... More
