Very noisy place. The table was so sticky from never being cleaned properly. Ordered my steak 'medium well' it came rare, the server took it back and returned it to me two minutes later - still rare. Took it back to the kitchen and then returned it burnt to a charcoal. I refused it and she asked it maybe I... More

For a restaurant with over priced items, drinks that sit on the bar so that the ice has melted before delivered, never seeing a waiter until the check comes, I'd never go back.

I have found their Tri-Tip to be their specialty and it is absolutely the best to be had. I have had other items which are good, but not excellent, so I stick with their signature dish. The dining here is CA casual, service has always been excellent, and it's a great place for a large group. It is extremely busy... More

I love Wood Ranch food and so does the family I am trying help out. They requested Wood Ranch when I offered to buy dinner for them - knowing that I am not close enough to bring a meal over. The wife had brain surgery and was in the hospital for about 1 month. My goal was to help ensure... More

We made the mistake of dropping in for Saturday night dinner -45 minute waitlist. It wasn't a huge deal, we just window shopped in the adjacent shopping center. Our server was very prompt and polite, although she did forget to mention that the brisket and ribs were both unavailable (until my husband tried to order them). We started with the... More

The food was AWESOME as usual, but the service was EXTREMELY SLOW on Saturday. We sat in the bar area because we did not want to wait for a table in the dinning area. We placed our food order and 3 bread baskets later (30-45 mins) our plates arrived. Food was DELICIOUS, but the service was sub par.

Food doesn't match the price point. We were there on a weeknight and it was pretty busy with families for a Weds night. I wasn't overly impressed with any of it. Ordered the Saute'd green beans and was really disappointed. No flavor. The beef ribs had not much meat and were slathered in sauce. The food was not hot. The... More

The wait staff is excellent. The food doesn't match it though. It's pricey, the pulled pork doesn't excite me, even after giving it a shot a few times. It's hard to pick what you want. It's nice to visit and have an intimate dinner with, it has the atmosphere for it but I would just get a fresh salad and... More

Wood Ranch has amazing tri-tip. There bbq sauce is so flavorful. I would definitley recommend this place, but be ware if you come on a Friday or Saturday night you will have to wait awhile and I'm not sure if they take reservations for small groups.

-I wrote a review on Wood Ranch about 5 years ago and have been back several times since. This is a follow-up. I am a big fan of Wood Ranch BBQ. No, I am a huge fan of Wood Ranch BBQ. I have been there several times over the years usually after a round of golf across the street at... More
