The food was good. It is hard to find a sit down rest. To eat at. We travel a lot with r job and to find a family restaurant is very hard. We drive truck and can't get to the family places easy.

Very good food - not just a truck stop. Menu extensive in addition to buffet. Seating separate for truckers and other clients.

The best thing about this meal was that the salad was cold and crisp. Beyond that, everything was down hill, FAR downhill. The salad bar needed clean-up as there were cross-contaminations from one item to the next. The atmosphere was non existent and the facility wasn't what you would call sparking clean, under our table was a used dinner napkin.... More

Best Western highly recommended the Iron Skillet and what a great meal. It is a truck stop and if truckers stop to eat, you know it will be good. The service was great, food great and good prices. They gave a discount if you show your room key at the Best Western.

The Iron Skillet in Corning is a great choice for breakfast. The restaurant is clean and inviting, the service is friendly and efficient and the chicken fried steak is superb. There is enough food on one plate to satisfy two hungry seniors.

The food is good and the price is not bad. Service is fast and friendly. The buffet offers a good selection. It is a truck stop restaurant. They rely on return business and so the food must stay good for a reasonable price. There were plenty of customers which is a good sign.

With only 2 previous reviews of this place, one wonders! We were there twice in a month and both times the food was, at best, ho-hum. Hamburgers and beef dip were dry, tasteless. Yes, it caters to truck drivers...eat on the run. Funny thing is, they really do cater to the truckers; they get a nice buffet with good looking... More

There is an old saying that you can tell how good a restaraunt's food is by the number of truck drivers parked outside. Petro Truckstops and their Iron Skillet brand are no exception to this rule. The food is comparable to Denny's in many ways, but with a twist to accomodate travelers. A buffet is available and watch for daily... More

Can't say anything bad about the iron skillet. The food is good, service fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Been stopping here for 30+ years and will continue to do so.
