This used to be our go-to restaurant but, having been gone for five or so weeks we thought to visit for hubby's birthday dinner. Huh - imagine our surprise at a whole NEW menu! I have to ask, 'What was corporate thinking?' Okay, it's nice to see new offerings but - they took away some well loved (and ordered) items... More

Situated inside a truck stop, this restaurant serves what you might expect at such a place...good solid food that is filling and tastes good. We had breakfast here and the food is served in iron skillets (hence the name). The menu is quite extensive. However, at this particular location I found the service to be a little slow.

Actually it is a Truck Stop. Big Buffet with typical buffet offerings. Prime rib cut off the roast, but it was dry and tasteless. It looks medium rare but tasted like it had been sitting for hours. Vegetables were limp. Lots of food for the money, but atmosphere and food not worth a repeat visit. You get what you pay... More

The food is very good and alot of it. The service was also very good, our server came back serveral times to make sure we had everything we needed. The buffet looked great with a variety of food, but I never can eat enough to make it worth it. But did include the salad bar with my meal and that... More

I rarely eat breakfast but during a motorcycle trip in California I stopped here. $10 buffet? Why not. Turned out to be quite good! Food was freshly cooked (everything was hot and country potatoes were nicely browned w/crispy skins. yum!). Tried eggs, ham, sausage (breakfast links and kielbasa style), bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, french toast and a cinnamon roll.... More

Lack of interest from the waitress around late lunch. Followed by very little cheese on an omelet after 2x same result. Even joked with table next to use because neither of our tables were checked on and we were given the bills without asking if we wanted dessert. If the waitress would appear to want to be there and not... More

It has been quite a while since. Have stopped at an Iron Skillet and I am glad I did.they had an all you can eat buffet for $10.59 and I must admit it was very good. There was quite an eclectic selection.

This Was my first Iron Skillet experience and probably the last. You can get soup and salad, here, but you don’t see that until you’ve already been through the buffet line. At 12:30, most meal selections were lukewarm, with only one or two servings remaining. Our vegetable choices amounted to some overcooked green beans. The salad bar, which is what... More
