Timbers is in the smoke free part of the a Rolling Hills Casino. It has a very nice ambience and a very attentive staff. The food, especially the prime rib, was very good. This is a good place to stop along I-5. It has a nice RV Park and a good golf course. Prices are very reasonable.

Went with a group of 10. Beer selection was a little small. Had the lamb shanks and they were cooked very well. Spouse had salmon and it was dry and not well seasoned. You have to walk through the smokey Casino but it is a large room to itself. It was a quiet and enjoyable room.

We have eaten here in the past and it was wonderful. This time the quality of food was only average (new chef perhaps?). We had to send back one of the entrees as it was overdone and tough (prime rib no less) - had requested rare to medium rare and there was no pink. The replacement one was pink but... More

Timbers steak house is a classy joint inside a clean and well run Casino, you will not be aware of the Casino outside once inside the restaurant. We enjoyed good wines, excellent service and food, a large party and no delays in food arriving. This restaurant has a wide variety of excellent dinner choices, all well prepared and presented. I... Good wine list, the service was friendly and helpful. The prime rib was cooked perfect, had great flavor, and was way too much for one meal, but I forged ahead and finished it,

Food was tolerable at best. Chicken was so over cooked. Salad was the best part of the meal. Be sure to ask for the raspberry vinaigrette with blue cheese. Friend had lamb chops and said she said they were fine, fine not good,

We weren't very hungry so my husband had soup....very tasty. I had a wonderful Caesar salad with steak added and extra anchovies. One of the best Caesars I've ever had. My husband especially liked the bread and olive oil, balsamic dip. They had a special herb blend added. ..wonderful. Very nice service and dining room. Highly recommend.

Timbers Steakhouse is a semi-upscale restaurant located in the Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, CA. Closed off from the noisy and smoky casino floor, it offers a very pleasant, quiet place to dine. Decor is a kind of casual elegance with high polished timber ceilings and stained glass windows. We understand the restaurant was recently refurbished, and it looks fresh... More

We have eaten here twice and both times had a good experience. We are hooked on their Prime Rib. Even the smaller portion was enough to take home for another meal.
