We arrived on Valentines day and wanted Peruvian food. The restaurant was empty, no people, this was not a good sign. The waiter said they have no Peruvian beer and no Plantains!!! What?? My wife ordered a glass of wine and the waiter brought an already opened bottle so how did we know what type of wine was really in... More

Really good Peruvian food -- just like what we had in Cuzco. My favorite is the causa - cold layered mashed potatoes and chicken. Very tasty.

Good food! Prices are fine for Peruvian food. They have a great sample platter that includes (causa rellena, papa a la huancaina, ceviche, and yuca frita). Chola's is a small, cozy restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are super reasonable (under $15). I loved the calamary, so be sure to ask for it as an appetizer. My wife is Peruvian and agrees with me that this food is authentic. Lots of choices on the menu. We go back often for a hearty meal. Plenty of desserts to try as well.
