Welcome to Plate & VineThe thing about freshness is that it’s fleeting. Use an ingredient too soon, or too late, and you don’t capture it at the very pinnacle of its flavor. It is around this very basic concept that we created Plate & Vine, a uniquely California-style restaurant dedicated to using locally-sourced foods in everything we make.Local foods, you see, aren't frozen, picked before they’re ripe for shipping or transported thousands of miles. They are, instead, fresh, organic, sustainable and grown in some of the most fertile soil in the world. If the experience of choosing foods from your own garden and preparing them yourself that very day could be turned into a restaurant – Plate & Vine would be that restaurant. So eat, drink and enjoy the treasures of the Contra Costa. Because unless you’re from here, odds are you traveled farther than your meal did.

Great hotel restaurant

Enjoyed both a lunch and breakfast here. Good lunch selection, and breakfast omelette was fantastic. Serve staff (Toni) was friendly and wonderful to have around. She was attentive and so nice. Nice surprise for a hotel eatery.

Checked into the Hilton Concord CA late evening so was happy to read a review that this in-hotel restaurant received great reviews. Upon arriving, the host asked if we would like a booth located on the bar side of the restaurant. It was comfortable and spacious for myself and my colleague. I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich which was perfectly... More

Had the salmon and my girl friend had the scallops special. Both were delicious. One of the best salmons I have had. The scallop dish was also very good. Service was very attentive. The dipping sauce with the bread was best I have had.

Ate lunch with a small group and was impressed. There was plenty of room for us side to side and across the table. The music was pretty loud, but they turned it down for us and was great the rest of the time we were there. The servers were pretty good with initial drink orders, appetizers and entrees, but slow... The wine is a bit pricey, but they had a great selection of wines from the region, and the pizza was good as was my burger. The staff were super friendly and patient with our large party.

Gnocchi was fabulous. Prices high, but typical for a hotel. Nice ambiance and good wine selection. Food appears to be locally sourced as well.

It was time to try a new restaurant with our friends. This restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel across the street from the Willows shopping center. Parking is a bit awkward as it is gated. We ordered cocktails and. It seemed we waited longer than expected. When our drinks were finally delivered we had to ask for bread. The cocktails... More
