At one time ths was a GREAT restaurant. A goto place to bring family and friends, even though there was usually a long wait. Alas this is no longer the case. From lackluster ( at best) service, poorly prepared food which was not what a dining companion even ordered. Went only because someone received a gift card, will never go... More

11/29/2014 My husband and I looked up this place online and noticed there was a dedicated vegetarian option for me so we decided to eat lunch here. I am glad we did. We were seated immediatetly in a booth with a view of the outside and parking lot. Our server Zack was very nice and accommodating. We NEVER had to... More

Large potions - no need to order appetizers. The food was a bit inconsistent - the porterhouse was to die for, but the club sandwich was bland. Side salad was wilted (I'm guessing a sign it was made ahead of time). Overall food was good but not spectacular. They were very open substitutions. Service was very good and waiter friendly... This restaurant offers a mining themed setting - as the name implies - with a bounty of large portioned meals. There is an early bird menu which we happened to be in time to order from. The portions were "smaller" than from the usual menu but more than enough for a hungry adult. Our waiter was very friendly and most... More

Mountains of food. That's the Claim Jumper's main claim to fame. Whatever you order, expect to bring part of it back home, which makes the price of the meal essentially that much less. However, don't expect gourmet food. It's good, but it's simple. In addition, the wait staff has always been pleasant on the days my wife and I have... More

The food is good and portions are big. Desserts are awesome. We made reservations but didn't get seated until half an hour later.

The customer service was awesome! But we waited a rather long time for our food to arrive, and even the food was rather good, and my beef ribs were tender and tasty, it's just that there was skimpy meat on my ribs, not what I expected for the price. But they tasted great. Our family had a nice time there.

Came here with my son because he really enjoys it; I think it's a nostalgia thing ... The food isn't special or fancy, but it's solid. I always get the ribs and they don't disappoint - even the lunch size is big! All the portions here are large and the serice is friendly. The mozzarella sticks we ordered looked a... More

I meet a friend at Claim Jumper three times a year. We always order an extra muffin to share ... absolutely divine. The salads are fabulous. And if you love chocolate cake, this is the place to get one ... simply wonderful.

Great service, food and atmosphere....there is a LOT of food here. Think Cheesecake factory level of menu and maybe even larger portions.
